Having been a professional chef for going on 20 years for what thats worth, it is so refreshing to watch these video's of this man sharing his knowledge. This is the greatness of no apologizes cooking without the new age food police.. It is how it was done, and how it should be done. Thank you Daddy Jack for keeping true chef technique null and void of the nonsense.
This dish reminds me of the first time I made out with a girl under the Colorado moon. It was 1982 and she said, hey... this is my first make out. I said ok babe, just know that I like you and you're special. After that moment, we made out, and I knew Colorado had a really good dish. I've never been the same. Since then I have always been a fan of salsa too. Give it up to salsa. Gnight babe.
Just found this channel a few weeks ago. I found he died and done research and I am so heart broken. I can’t imagine how his family feels. What a good dude. So sad to hear
Gosh I miss watching this man so much. I had commented before that I was going to go to Connecticut from Florida just to eat at his restaurant and then covid happened. I'm not sure if it was Jack himself who would comment back but it surely was written in a way that I could imagine him saying it and I was thrilled when he would respond to my comments. He gave me advice on how to flip things in the pan without using a spatula. He was a master of flipping eggs without breaking them. I had great admiration for him when he would mention the mom and pop sandwich shops or meat shops in the community. What a man. I love the blues and I love cooking and food. I love real authentic people. Naturally, Jack checked all the boxes. It's rare in life when you feel like you know someone who you've never met and Jack was one of the rare ones for myself and tens of thousands of others. What you saw is what you got with this great man. I wish his daughters and family all the best.
Daddy Jack! You are an AMAZING cook! Thank you for all you do! You make everything look so good! ...and you are aloud to make ALL the noise you want when you eat!

Love me some daddy Jack's. All the other YT chefs are fake. You can't get more down to earth than this guy.
