  • Quick feed back on the Lexus GS 350 car. Any used car can have its issues pending on how the previous owner took care of it. The GS300-350 are known for burning oil specifically this generation year. A quick remedy that may help you is first change the PCV valve, I forgot to mention it on this video, check your spark plugs and coil packs, add Marvel mystery oil towards your next oil change and drive the car for about 500 miles. The marvel mystery oil will help clean up your carbon build up which could also be a culprit of your car burning oil. For any questions please comment below and I will do my best to answer your questions.

    I think it’s a reliable car. I have a 2009 gs350 bought it with 154000 for 9000 and have only rebuilt the alternator and just had to buy a new battery which by the way was original. Only downside is always using premium gas $5.65 here in L.A. But drives good. 👍

      Nice..yes it is very minimal maintenance being its a luxury vehicle too. Ouch $5.65 is quit expensive.

    2 words. HELL YEAH they are Reliable! The engines or bulletproof and the transmissions. I have a 2008 GS 350 Lexus for 4 years and on the 4th year after driving from California back to Texas had to change val cover gaskets. And just changed gas pressure sensor. She runs absolutely perfect! I got her at 85k miles and now 120 k. They go up to 250k miles or more

      Sweet mine is currently at 185k. There is a Florida’s guy with an 08 sitting at 800k+ miles on it. I do believe when maintained well and on time they can last a good while. Thanks for your feedback!

    Ive got the 460. And its £7.05 per gallon for premium. Only afford to take it out for special occasions. Lol. I just cant get my head around selling it . Absolutely mint.

      Nice they are fantastic cars for what they are. I recently added some wheels on mine and installed coilovers, just because stock suspension was old and tired. Currently we are paying $4 per gallon for premium here at the moment. Last week I filled it with 85$ a bit much but I’m not complaining 😀.

      @GroupBEJ25 Exactly what I've done. Tanabe medallion exhaust . Tanabe coils plus new lexus shocks. Borbet 19in LX alloys. It's Black/black 42.000 miles mint. Premium cars. Best car I've ever had .
      I've just worked out (sad, I know) It would cost to fill the tank completely empty to full $138.00 . Over here UK. No wonder I drive it for special occasions only. Lol.

      @@Anvil. nice thanks for the information too. I forgot all about tenabe coils. How is the exhaust is it loud?I would love to keep it more in the quiet zone. The Subaru is loud reason why lol.

      The exhaust tone is very subtle. It doesn't resonate at any speed within the cab . Totally enhances the sound of the V8 I've had quite a lot of people approach me and ask what engine is in that because it sounds really sweet. Must be good a rarely use the stereo I prefer the sound of the engine.lol. The tanabe springs were NF210 lowering springs 1.5 inch drop front 0.9 rear 5% ride over originals. Improved ride especially in sport mode. Handling is much firmer. OK nice to have chat. Bye (UK).

    I've got my eye on getting one of these. What would you recommend with regards to a physical inspection before I purchase. Thank you for any advice?

      @GroupBEJ25  Před měsícem +1

      Nice hope you get yourself a good one. As far as physical I would inspect doors make sure they all close well without being forced/gaps between the doors sometimes it can be tell and tell signs it’s been wrecked. But best this is carfax to be honest with you. You can also check the oil level and of course a good drive with the radio/music off windows down to listen to the car.

      @@GroupBEJ25 Thank you 👍🏻 I'm in Malaysia, we don't have Carfax or an equivalent system just a lot of gangsters in the used vehicle trade 😁

      @@Mugairyuiai ahhh I see. Well at the minimum a good test drive can tell you too if the car stays straight on the road also can check the wear in the tires see if it’s wearing out even.
