Finally😭 needed a simple flavourfull recipe for a situation where blenders and fresh pineapple are out of the question. How hard can it be to find a decent tutorial… But thank God, I can prepare with these and just make it on ice. Thank you!❤️
Your welcome Amma, I'm glad you liked it.
I’ve only been a bartender for a few months and tonight for the first time someone ordered a piña colada so I quickly came up with 2 Oz Malibu Rum, 2 Oz pineapple juice, and 1/2 Oz of heavy cream, my guest loved it! Unfortunately I had no coconut juice
Well done, But you pulled it off :)
I love playing with pina colada recipes - so much room for exploration
I agree, there are so many ways to go.
Looking good buddy. Have a great week.
thank you Ulgarth, you too.
Three ingredients make this a winner my friend.
It sure does.
OMG!!!! DAVID!! All the flavors that I love!!! Ive got to make this!!!! Great video!!!
TIM!! This is for you! its perfect and easy.

Thanks, its really good.
Simple and delicious! Thanks Dave!
You welcome, I'm glad you liked it.
The way cocktails should be, am I right?
I don't understand why you have very few subscribers. Your cocktails are amazing
Thank you very much. A little at a time.
Great video David. I quite enjoy the new intro. So cool. Cheers!
Thank you Petar.
Love my malibu!
Malibu is pretty awesome.
That looks great and it's so simple. I'm thinking a little crushed ice would be great with this as well!
Definitely, I would go for something like that,
The diy cocunut cream has me sold on trying this!!
Go for it I think you will like it.
When you find out how easy it is to make, it's tough to go back to store bought
This a good drink. My friend Jan loves these. Nice looking glass. I need a couple of these. Cheers my friend.
Thank you PJ. Have a great night :)
@@boozeontherocks I am making this tonight for my Trivia Show at 10pm Eastern.
Definitely the quick and dirty way to do this cocktail. Great for when you're in a hurry!
It really is!
Hi David, this looks so simple, I will make it this weekend! Nick from York
nick, I hope you like it. let me know what you think.
In Jamaica we make our Pina Coladas with coconut rum too. Perfect when shaken or frozen
Love this cocktail but with a stronger rum 👍
Which one would you use?
@@boozeontherocks over proof rum Dave 👌
Hi man..love ur work and a big fan.
I tried using this recipie exactly as u said but the quantity was so little..barely filled up a medium sized drinking glass..are the quantities correct?
Cheers
I am only using a 10 oz glass here. Plus with the ice and dilution it should fill that glass. So depending on the size of the glass you using that could be the issue you are having.
For cream of cocunut I blend coconut milk (cooking version no addition) and mix it with sweetened condensed milk, just need a stick blender. No heat. SO creamy.
That sounds really good. I will have to try that.
@@boozeontherocks start at 2:1 of coconut milk to condensed milk increasing if you want it sweeter.
@@stephane.foisy.186 Awesome, thank you.
Hi David, I have made this too your spec exactly. It was delicious, though low ABV. I will be making it again for my wife later on.
Next weekend, as Barprints suggested, I will make it with a coconut rum I will buy next Friday.
Nick from York
Nick, I am glad you liked it. Let me know which rum you pick up and how it turns out please.
Nice! Have you thought about using this as a base for a Blue Hawaiian? The blue curaçao really changes the drink
... theres a good variation I bet too...
i have not tried that, it would make for a good starring point.
I agree.
That's definitely a good way to go.
Could you use the pineapple Malibu instead of the coconut one? Would it taste different?
Definitely, It just means that the coconut flavour would be lighter :)
Keep the full shaking in next time! Lol. It's the highlight of the video!
Will do...
... can't go wrong with a base of Malibu ...
it definitely makes for a good start.
How long can the coconut cream last?
I would use it within a couple of weeks. But mine has lasted for a couple of months. It will separate so you will have to shake before use.
@@boozeontherocks I have just bought a 400 mls tin of Waitrose reduced fat coconut milk and so do I boil it with sugar? How much? I bought del monte pineapple 100% pure juice as no pineapples! And Malibu!
Would this be a recipe I can make by the gallon and serve from a dispenser?
You can do that. But the cream of coconut will separate so you will need to agitate it some hoe. i.s shake it or something like that.
I found a pineapple coconut rum could I use that in place of the coconut rum
Definitely go for it.
Strange man, can't see the video in my subscriptions
