I’m one year younger than you. My oldest is 17 so I’m feeling the same way about running out of time. I have known about Jesus my whole life, and I have gone to church and lived like a “good person” (I now know that none are righteous), but I was 39 when I truly realized that I needed a savior and became a born again Christian. All of my priorities have changed over the last three years. Making God first in my life and in the life of my family has been life changing. There is a peace that surpasses all understanding. So even though my kids are growing up, I can rest in the promise that God is in control! Thanks again for the wonderful video. It’s nice to know there are like minded people out there.

Oh please do a video on being a mom to a young adult ... our son lives at home still and is going to college and working....It's a tough balance of letting them be "adults" but still being their mom and dad and living together...lol....great video👍👍

I am 42 and so many of the things you shared are things I think and feel, too. Thank you for sharing. I'm trying to grow and bring my family with me, too. I work from home and homeschool. It is a constant battle against business. I often give in to fleshly reactions/emotions/hormones and grieve over the example I set sometimes. But I think part of the busy-ness of this season in life is a part of the struggle. One thing I started in Aug of 2022 was rising early, reading my Bible, praying, and exercising, all before my family rises. It's changed my life. It has changed my relationship with God. I praise Him for the changes and convictions he's shown me. I'm a work in progress as is my relationship with Him and my Christian walk. I think spending consistent time with Him and in His word has grown me more spiritually than my entire life up to this point. I'm thankful, but also sad that I wasted so much of my life just fitting it in when I could. I really resonated with your thoughts on this one. Thank you.
I love that you're making dedicated time for your priorities in the morning! Don't beat yourself up too much for taking so long to make time with God a priority...thankfully He's very patient and gives us plenty of grace! :)
Hi Becky.😊 I've been watching you for a long while. I'm Becca.🥰 We have five children ranging from 13 to 30! We started our family young. I turned 50 in November, and my husband is 53. We have 6, soon to be 7, grandchildren! We homeschool as well.
I completely agree with all that you've shared. It's really strange how much more reflective we become as our roles change as parents. I have been pressing into His word, and taking care of myself as well. Exercise, diet etc... God is doing good to us as we call upon Him with sincerity.
It is an uphill battle on some days, but He's going to see us through!

I am loving these videos! You are so relatable and love the encouragement that God is sending through you. I’m similar age and have a 17 yr and 9 yr old who I homeschool. I too work from home and feel the pull for change a simplicity.
