Jj is one of my favorite players of all time and one of the reasons I started watching professional football as a kid. Love seeing him get his respect. If he had perfected what he did safely without injury he might of been the goat. But the trenches are rough out here. And going 100 % all the time you sometimes forget those precautions you have to take. I hope jj has a great retirement. Love to see a respectable leader like him coach a team one day man.

As a native Houstonian I didn’t give half a shit about the Texans until JJ came along. Vertical, he put in 34 Bench Reps(225lbs.). He posted a 6.88sec cone drill. He put up top numbers in every combine category except for the 40 yard dash which let's be real when you are 6"5' 290lbs. you post anything below a 5 big men just shouldn't move that fast. He has long arms and huge hands. In his second season in the NFL he had one of the best seasons for a defender in NFL history, he posted 69 solo tackles(nice), 20.5 sacks, 16 passes deflected, 4 FF, 2 recoveries and was the AFC defensive player of the month for September and December and took home the 2012 DPOY award with 49 out of 50 votes(He would go on to win 2 more DPOY awards both of which he was the unanimous winner). He made the highest debut on the NFL top 100 list coming in at #5. In 2014 He finished second in MVP voting behind Aaron Rodgers. Unblockable? More like Unstoppable

Because it doesn't show up on the stat sheet. He was making o-lineman just look beyond silly. Untrained, novice, not even rookie just I'm the professional and you guys do this for fun. And he stopped so many plays for 1 yard gain or around there. Really sad to see such a talent not wasted but not be put on the display it deserves. Although him wanting to spend time with his baby. @@LukeF2323 Yeah. 2012 was really their best shot, a good year from Matt Schaub, Insane years out of Andre Johnson, Arian Foster and JJ Watt but they couldn't stop the Patriots despite a good offensive showing. They could've honestly made it to the Superbowl had they beaten the Patriots, because if their previous performance that season vs the Ravens was an indication of anything, they had the tools to break the streaking Ravens(that started 5-1 before heading into Houston and proceeding to be beaten 43-13). If the Cardinals had maintained their first half form Watt could've been in the SB in 2021 but they didn't and they proceeded to fall in the Wild Card. The 2014 Texans had they made the Playoffs, would've been a force. Of their 7 losses, 5 were by 1 score and could've gone either way, Hopkins was emerging, Ryan Fitzpatrick was decent, Andre Johnson was good, Arian Foster had a good season and Watt was unstoppable, but they weren't clutch enough. Sadly, He really never had a shot at the SB and the closest he got was that 2012 Season.

    Damn, Travis felt that.
But what do u expect from a tight end? He’s always stiff arming ppl in the end zone.

It's not that surprising if you pay attention. It's more so shocking in the sense that we never wanted it to end but not surprising
