Hey Nora, I love your videos! I’ve been binge watching. Watching is like talking with a friend. I haven’t watched the other videos in this series and don’t know how well you did at the craft fair but something came to mind I wanted to share. Might be a painful idea, lol, so take it with a grain of salt. If your jewelry is not selling you could deconstruct your pieces and sell the beads and clasps. I know I know! It would be a way to add to your items but also recoup some of your costs. Not time, but actual dollars spent on beads and things. But only if that’s important to you. I don’t know if I could do it but wanted to throw it out there.Maybe on just the ones that are less special to you. I also thought maybe you could do penny auctions like Darlene for your loose beads. That could be interesting!
NORA! Put the clay stars next to the wands and label them "fairy dust." I bet some little girl with want them! The blue necklace is beautiful, I liked ALL your necklaces, can't imagine why they are not selling, they look nicely done.
I think the jar with beads in it is a great idea. I think people who are "crafty" will be interested in those. I know I would at least stop and check them out.
Thanks Janelle! I’ll certainly show the final product in the follow up video. The pattern is from a book called “Stitched Safari” by Tomomi Maeda in case you’re interested.
Nora my dear, that tree quilt is really not that bad. It is a really cute quilt and IMO I would not even price it at a lower price. It is fine. I have tried several times to do craft fairs and have not made money at all. They can be fun and especially with a friend, but moneywise I just couldn't see doing it. I hope you have fun and make some money though.
Thanks for your advice about the blanket, sometimes when you make something, you’re too close to it to have an objective opinion. I totally agree about the craft fairs. I never make all that much money and set up is always a pain. This is probably my last festival besides a winter festival I love that requires no set up and very low registration fee.
hi, watching your video and fyi, sell the necklace with magnet clasp as an ARTHRITIS SPECIAL. I have arthritis and would love to have these. Going to hunt for them. Love all of them. in Canada and most stores are getting rid of plastic bags, so the tote bags will sell well here. What did you sell the beach bags for? did they sell well? on to episode 2 now.
The clay confetti stars would look cute on a card instead of the bags. If you could get the gummy stickies that companies use in their packaging and fasten the stars to the card stock they would sell.
You may do better than you think. People are craft fair starved after last summer's total lockdown. I know we are not fully out of the woods yet, but hopefully enough vaccinated people will feel free to venture out and do some serious craft fair shopping!
The smaller clips take.longer to make, so $12 would be perfect... Think, A 12" quilt block takes much less.time.than same block at 3". I know, my favorite thing to make is 3" finished blocks.
O.K., Miss Nora, I apologize, I seem to always leave way too many comments on your videos. I hope you don't mind. First of all, thank you for sharing, I know making these videos take a lot of extra time, but just want you to know I enjoy them and get ideas from them, so thanks. My thoughts on the wands: I kind of feel like they just need a tiny bit more "bling" or something like maybe some gemstones on the wings? IDK. Then, before you even held up the hair things, I was thinking, a little girl might be quite tempted by a wand with a MATCHING hair clip? Then charge a bit more for a matched "set" and make it more worth your time. Just my own thoughts. Let me know what you think. If you don't agree, that is of course quite alright, these are just my initial thoughts.
You are very crafty , I am a crafter myself and I realise how hard it is to sell in a fair . Thank you for sharing your projects

That’s an interesting idea Rebecca, thanks for sharing it! And thanks for watching! The fair was a lot of fun.
I love your pink elephant!
Love your videos! Love the baby fidget blankets and the pot holders, beautiful colors!
Such cute items! Thank you for posting!
Thanks Brenda!
This is a great series!!!
My grandson loves his taggy blanket, yours are adorable.
Thanks Linda!
It would be great to have a should effect with the touch fabric. Don't forget the greatest learning tears are up to 7 years.

Hi Nora, I love your creative energy!! Good luck at the craft show, Love, Love everything!!!
Thanks so much Karen!
Maybe on the little "tag" blankets you you have, you could promote the more adult looking fabric as fidget/sensory blankets for dementia patients...
What a great idea! I just added that to the tags. Thanks!
I love the potholders. I’d buy the butterflies.
Hello Nora!!! Love. Love. LOVE the elephants! Oh my goodness...pls show the completed versions. I love them...lol. Cute ideas...best of luck!
Thanks Janelle! I’ll certainly show the final product in the follow up video. The pattern is from a book called “Stitched Safari” by Tomomi Maeda in case you’re interested.

You are very talented! Think kids and pets. People buy for their kids and pets.
You’re right about the pets. Once I made baby bandana bibs and I noticed everyone was buying them for their dogs, haha.
Use your smart jars with your fabric scraps and put on a cute little label that says.... Quilt Jam Then make a pin cushion on the lid.
Its funny you say that because I actually have made pin cushion jars! I like the idea of “quilt jam”!
Cute idea!
This is so interesting and helpful to me
When we go to markets my husband says bring everything. With the exception of Christmas stuff out of season.
💗💗💗
I want the tree quilt would you mail it. Let me know what the cost is. You didn't mention it online.
Thanks you have many talents.
Stuff the bags full of scrunched up paper before you display them so people can see how roomy they are, they will also look more appealing too.
Brilliant! I’m totally going to do that.
The elephant needs a miniature quilt on it's back.
OMG, that’s genius!
I meant a sound effect.
Try making small spring butterfly wreaths.😮 cha r ge for your time.

Love all your bags... maybe display them hanging from a coat rack 🤔
Another great idea!
Small jelly jars with beads $2.50 and 3 for $7.00, lager ones $4.00 and 2 for $7.50
Very smart thought to charge less for purchasing more, I like the way you think!
Check out. Price of tunes of beads.
You may do better than you think. People are craft fair starved after last summer's total lockdown. I know we are not fully out of the woods yet, but hopefully enough vaccinated people will feel free to venture out and do some serious craft fair shopping!
Fingers crossed Bonnie! Thanks for watching!

Never too many comments! Love the idea of matching hair clips & wand!
P I t these on ha irclips.
Glue three or four stars on top of those small jars. Give them options and CHARGE more girl. You are underpricing your goods.
Good idea!
I don't trust synthetics .
