Sad to say someone might have the skills but not a good bike to keep up. Even though you are super strong if your bike is not in good condition anymore because you don't have the money to repair then you can't compete.

@CALICOTV301 well then it shows how pointless it is for you to ask the question.
Are you going to go into guitar center and ask "do you guys sell guitars?"
Your question could've been: "are there alot of white females? Short females? Big ol' titties or lean beauties?"
But instead you asked the most generic cliche question in the world, which will give you a generic answer
Domino's is a big chain, pizza from dominos will taste pretty much identical. Just like women are worldwide. There will be pretty ones everywhere.
But nonetheless, you did not get my point. If my significant other is native from chihuahua, then obviously i will tell you they are the prettiest in the world, and that was my point.

this is a lesson that my dad taught me many many years ago. it doesnt matter what you are using, it doesnt matter how much you spend on that fancy tool or part to improve whatever you are using. what matters is your skill with what you are using. all the fancy and expensive upgrades do 5% of the work, and 95% placebo effect. what matters is how far comfortable you are with your passion or actions with whatever it is in life. from mountain biking to pen collecting. the skill comes from you. and this young man demonstrated that point beautifully. all the love and be safe out there everyone!

      Tip?
Payment... that is the work of a day!
Maybe they went for vacations and funny "diversión" but he is working and he made a great job!
They live in a country where the money is at least 18 times more expensive than México... I think they could pay well for the job and not just a miserable tip.
Do you have money for a $6000 bike... I think you can give at least $50 or $100.

A tip is obviously given on top of the price they were charged! After all he was their guide not their friend, he was providing a service. When have you gone to a restaurant and gave a tip without paying for your meal first?

In order for this kid to even have the bike he has. I'm sure he had to save up for a couple of months and work hard af. I know this because I was born in Mexico (now living in texas) and I know the type of life style that people have there.

That kid probably rides those trails 2 or 3 times a day.
The speed he was traveling he could ride I'd blindfolded.

totally agree, cannot fault his riding but if you know a trail really well and know where you need to brake and where you can open the taps it is fairly easy to leave the competition for dead,we have all done it,local knowledge is everything
