To me the most beautiful royal wedding dress ever has to be Princess Margaret her dress was amazingly stunning xoxoxo
Thanks for the comment

I liked it, also.
It was beautiful in its simplicity. I loved it.
I agree with you
Your AI bot's pronunciation is absolutely WOEFUL!!
Painful
Distracting! Someone knows absolutely NOTHING about fabrics!
It's atrocious.
The wedding date of Princess Diana and Prince Charles should be 29 July 1981
No, Diana and her family decided to use there aristocracy so it now belongs to the Earl of Spencer. It’s a PS just a note to say that he’s definitely an Earl, but I don’t know what earldom Title is.
Seriously do the video creators not have Google? How could they get Princess Diana and Charles's wedding date
wrong?
I didn’t think it was Feb was that the engagement date?
We cannot compare the price of wedding dresses made 10 to 40 years apart
Exactly! Thank you!😊
Apart from Princess Catherine's dress, I also loved Princess Margaret's and our Queen Mary of Denmark's dresses. 🦘🧡💚💛
Eight million for one dress? Their is something really wrong with royality that can justify this! ❤
I think Queen Mary’s dress was magical for me, she looked so elegant 💕
Would be nice to see prices of gowns adjusted for inflation. Thanks
Exactly. 😊
Princess Eugenie not Eugene
Hated Diana’s dress. When she got out of the carriage the dress was wrinkled and I know that HRH Diana did not expect it to be that way.
Yes, because they couldn't practice getting in and out of a carriage.
I didn't mind that it wrinkled, I just can't stand frou frou. That dress was so fussy. But that's me. My mother had to order my First Communion dress from New Your City because it was 1974 and everything was all lace and, well 70's I refused to wear any of it! She got me a beautiful, yet slightly plain dress with no lace or ruffles or crinoline or nonsense. My wedding dress was the same, but made out of the most beautiful fabric and just pearl beading at the edges of the sleeves. No train, that was the beautiful veil that I then removed. I had bustled up way too many friends at their weddings to want that!
Silk taffeta; the creasing doesn't matter, it catches the light in the most beautiful way. The disaster was from the waist up: just ghastly. Fussy, frilly and amateur looking. And totally unsuitable for Diana. Such a shame.
@@sallygardiner7150 I don't think it could have been better except that I believe Diana was having a bad hair day. Catherine's was disappointing, however -- ho hum - where have I seen that before? Meghan's was the worst.
I loved her dress and never noticed the wrinkles until others made so many comments about the wrinkles.
I love Fergies dress!
So did I
Bad choice by the Emmanuel's was the choice of fabric.
Taffeta was very 80’s as were puffed sleeves.
@@desireehedges2655it was tissue silk taffeta- wrinkles easier than a heavier silk taffeta. But Diana was 19 when she commisioned that dress- horrible as it was, that's what any teenager at 19 probably would have wanted in 1981.
Unbelieveable amount of money. !
Yup...for a dress worn ONE day! the term 'Wretched Excess' comes to mind!
Love Catherine’s, Princess of Wales, wedding dress… well designed , sophisticated and pure elegance❤
I agree. But it is probably most beautiful because she looked so perfect in it.
Yes like a classic princess.
To me, it was perfect in every aspect - could not fault one thing. Pure magic. God bless our beautiful Princess Catherine. 🦘❤💛💚
@angeld3500 . I disagree about Catherine’s dress I didn’t like it to low cut!
Enjoyed looking at the gowns but your research is sloppy and your AI bot's pronunciations are a mess.
Charles and Diana were married on 29 July 1981. She was engaged on 24 February 1981. Also Fergie’s dress designer is pronounced like Cheerak.
I loved Princess Diana, I didn't like her wedding dress at all.
Thanks for clairfying the dates, lots of pronouncing was bad
@@rudi-183👍🏼Shockingly bad.🥺😳😱
My favorite was Mary of Denmark. It just seemed so classic, as well as her veil. Really old school, but also modern with the angles of the pleats in the skirt. I also loved Catherine, Princess of Wales' dress because it fit her perfectly. That is attention to detail. Clearly absolutely bespoke. I also understand her parents paid for that dress themselves. No handouts from the royal family, they did it properly.
I didn't like the pointy bust
She copied Princess Grace
Middletons (now Bankrupt) happily considering the investment of her being future Queen.
My fav is Kate's gown.
The Spanish dress strikes me as something that Maleficent would wear. Seriously.
I agree. It looked awful
But Letizia is a Malaficent...
Do you have taste in your mouth?
@@meeeka Do you have English in your brain?
The gowns were beautiful, but not more so than gowns to be found at any bridal shop. The prices are ridiculously inflated.
My favorite is Grace Kelly's wedding dress followed by BB Armani's dress and then by Princess Beatrice's dress. The embroidery on Leticia's and Diana's dress was breath taking.
Then Crown Princess Letitia's dress was absolutely exquisite; it was a toss-up between that one and CP Mary's dress.
Gaun pengantin Grace Kelly, Kate Middleton dan Meghan Markle sederhana dan manis.
Gaun Queen Marry pun cantik.
Leticia’s dress was a gift from the designer, it is said that a simbolic amount was paid (under 10 thousand). Anyway, the price (at that time) would have never been over 100 thousand. Poor reseach job here.
Qween Matilda så beatifull and princess of Wales Catherine ❤❤❤
I was amazed at how beautiful Princess (Queen) Elizabeth’s wedding dress was. Gorgeous embroidery work.
Yes
I had to turn it off because of the voice over person :( A LOT of huge mispronunsiations including " GA-vency instead of GE-vency. :(
Dianas Kleid war absolut hässlich. Als wenn sie die gesamte Bettwäsche umgewickelt hatte und damit losgelaufen ist.
That wasn’t Sarah Ferguson’s dress. Her dress had bows on the shoulders.
Princess Grace...and Catherine
I thought of all the gowns shown, the girl who married the Prince of Greece as the most beautiful and elegant, Also, Princess Margaret’s gown should have been included - it truly was magnificent and her tiara was perhaps the most beautiful of all of the tiaras.
my fav was the simple yet gorgeous Princess Madeline of Sweden.
Princess Eugenie dress was stunning playing but bold I love that dress.
I loved Sarah’s gown. So beautiful.
TM King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain married on 5/22/2004 , their engagement was announced on 11/1/2003.
The older dresses would cost even more in this day and age. Grace Kelly's I've always considered true haute couture. But it leaves me cold. Diana's is still my favorite. Even though it's so 'froo-froo' , if you're 20, in 1981, and marrying the future King of England, that's the dress to wear. And her tiara, was far prettier, then any of the others! IMO
It was the Spencer family tiara, which I thought was a nice thing to wear.
@@gloriawhiting5431 oh, yes, I know. I think it's even prettier than any of the royal tiaras, in any royal family.
For me, the most gorgeous wedding dress of all time was Princess Grace of Monaco. It was breathtaking, as was Grace.
My favorite is the dress of Mary of Denmark. SOOO elegant!
Faille is pronounced "file," with two syllables, "FIE-yul" -- it's definitely not a "fail"!
O yes I do love couture. Meanwhile we cannot afford our groceries. Greetings from Holland 🌷
Queen Elizabeth paid for her dress with ration coupons.
These all have a place in fashion history, however, the most amazing dress was worn by Princess Beatrice. Everything about that dress just screams FUN to me. And, how blessed she was to wear her grandmother's wedding tiara. As far as British wedding gowns I have to put it at the top of the list followed by Princess Catherine, Queen Elizabeth, Princess Eugenie, Princess Diana, and Sarah, Duchess of York. I don't have much knowledge of Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, or Princess Margeret.
I liked the Queen's dress lent to one of the sisters, not sure if Eugenie or Beatrice.
@@user-or4fe2sk3v
It was Beatrice.
My best friend in freshman college year called me Beatrice. So, I've pretty much kept my ears open when I hear the name.
@@BettyCDH Thank you, Betty. It was such a simple but very pretty dress. Our late Queen had excellent taste. 🦘
Princess Diana and Prince Charles did not get married on 24th February 1981. They got engaged in February and married 29th July of that year. It was very much a summer wedding.
Diana and Charles married on 29th July 1981, not February as stated. I always remember, as I came home the day before with my new baby son, and the midwives and I watched the ceremony when they came to visit.
Pretty dresses
Great fashion video! Thanks for the details of each dress.
For Diana and Charles - their engagement announcement was February 24, 1981 - their wedding (as noted above) was July 29, 1981
It is ridiculous to pay so much money for a dress you wear for one day...
Yes, they all have enough money but that is waste on the highest level and the money should be used for better things 🤬🤬🤬
I'd like to know what Princess Sophie's dress cost. She seems so down to earth.
Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh’s royal wedding dress was the best ❤
The most beautiful wedding dress is Princess Diana's wedding dress. That was definitely a wedding dress fit for a princess. She really did look like a princess wearing that wedding dress. The horse driven carriage that she rode in to the wedding was great, too. It was a fairy tale wedding. It is tragic that the marriage ended badly.
It was a disaster. Wrinkled , too huge so it swamped her. Her hair was flattened by the tiara . She deserved much better
If they didn't tax their people so severely, none of them would be able to afford these wedding dresses! And I don't care who you are, no dress this expensive should be chosen! ❤
Absolutely. Obscene all the way. ✅❣️😢
This would be a much more interesting video if the computer generated voice was replaced with an actual human. Ugh.
Its ain't AI Voice over, its Human His accent is little different in future we will work it on to make it better. Thank you for the feedback
@@LuxlogyIncluding the weight of these dresses would have been interesting. 🤔
Dianas was overwhelming, but understandable given she was barely 20 and innocent. But Meghans dress was beautiful understated, matured and clean lines. A mere frame for the beauty, she glowed with.
The narrator needs to learn how to pronounce these designer's names.
Get your facts straight. Diana's wedding took place in july 1981. The veil used by princess Mary of Denmark was first used by the mother of Queen Ingrid of Denmark, princess of Sweden. Her mother was Margareth of Connaught. Duuuuuhhhh what about the Valentino weddinggown of Queen Máxima........etc etc Queen Mathilde. Of you a video something like this, than please do it like it should be....did not see the beautiful weddinggown of Princess Victoria....and many more...the spanish princesses, Gabriella Windsor, the Luxembourg princesses, princesses of Denmark, princess Mette Marit.....etc etc
Yeah, he mixed up the Swedish princesses 🙂.
I suppose the dresses you miss weren't among the 10 most expensive. At least I'm pretty sure the sensible Crown Pricess of Sweden wouldn't spash out unnecessarily. Her younger sister on the other hand...
@@haga2519 ....HGD Stephanie of Luxembourg's Elie Saab wedding gown was $250,000.
@@kimberlytyrcha5930 Oh dear!
But she really looked fantastic in that beautiful gown, well worth the money, and it didn't make much of a dent in the Lux bank account I suppose. 😀
The Prince of Wales and Diana married on 29 July 1981 but got engaged on 24 February 1981
Diana and Charles married on July 29th 1981. This is the correct date. I know, because I was in the labor room delivering my daughter watching the wedding wedding on July 29, 1981.
la robe de Diana ressemblait à un vrai paquet
Never liked Letizia’s dress
Prince Diana married Charles on JULY 29TH 1981. NOT FEB 24TH
Please get rid of the robot narration and get a human being who knows how to pronounce all the names correctly!
15:34
Charles and Diana's wedding was 29th July 1981, not 24th February!
Well you live and learn: according to this Diana and Charles married on24 th February 1981 forgive me if I am wrong but I remember celebrating with the rest of the UK on the 29 th. July 1981
Was the prices adjusted for the time today? I doubt it.
You know breaking down these gowns to their monetary value is wrong…and discredits the craftsmanship
Wait. Did they say that Queen Letizia’s dress cost $8,000,000?
Not a fan of
Which comedian did you hire to come up with these costs. They are so far out, they're laughable!
Prince Charles and Diana were married in July NOT February
The spanish Royal wedding gown 8 million😢. I really thought it would be one of the less expensive. How about that of Megan Markle 's, I considered it the "cheapest". I was wrong again.
What an obscene waste of money.
Agreed! Accompanied by marriages of misery. Infinitely sad! 😢
Good thing it wasn’t your money then, huh?
@maryvasilakakos7387 My wife used to say, The more expensive the wedding, the nastier the divorce. 😮
@@robertdesantis6205
Wise woman. 💖
Did anybody hear the cost of Letizia's dress? I didn't catch it.
I know, right?Such an astronomical cost for a dress worm only once
$8M. Way over the top!
Letitia could wear a potato sack, and still look elegant.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I don’t know about all of the royal marriages but I do remember that Diana and Charles were married on July 29th and not the date you said in this video. I’m not positive but I think that the date you gave as their wedding day might have been the date that their engagement was announced to the world.
For true class ,,,, have a look at the dress worn by Sarah Chatto ,,,,, the Daughter of Princess Margaret.
But it made her flat-chested.
@@butterflybeatles I think her husband knew what he was getting, and royals do not flaunt their chests.
It had a very Tudor feel to it. Her bridesmaids’ dresses were very lovely!
Charles and Diana were engaged on 24th February 1981, and married on 29th July 1981
Cartier halo teara
Lady Diana and Prince Charles were married July 29, 1981 NOT February 24, 1981! I would think that give that all the dresses mentioned are for royal weddings, that someone would check for accuracy in the details such as dates, prices, etc !
Diana and Charles got married on 29th July 1981
She's NOT Princess "Eugene" Her name is EUGENIE.
Get your wedding dates correct. Princess Diana wedding was July 29, 1981 not in February
Did any of these marriages last😂😂😂
Actually most of them have.
Diana's dress was a complete disaster. It had far too many additions and was wrinkled all over when she left her carriage. It was such a let-down.
You'd think that if you were spending $265,000.00 on a dress you would have sprung for the last couple of fittings so it didn't look like a sack hanging on you. Markles dress was the only one not fitted, and it made that expensive dress look like she'd bought of the rack somewhere and didn't bother to have it taken in.
Yet, it became the most searched, requested and popular wedding dress even today. Everything she wears does. Huh.
horrible pressentation
All very beautiful! I am surprised that nothing was mentioned about Queen Victoria's. For the time period, it must surely rank with these, if the prices were adjusted for inflation.
These AI narrators need some work on pronunciation.
El peor fue el de Leti😂
Hi there! I am a man and not much into fashion, frankly. But what I gained from meticulously watching this video is: no matter how expensive the dress, beauty and inner peace of the woman weigh more. If you do not look regal, the longest train would not help you. Why lie, half of the women in the video did not look attractive to me. Fitzgerald said the rich were different... bah.
Salam... hello beautiful 🌹❤️😀
...aaw come on, you can't make a mistake like the date of the late Diana Princess of Wales, she married Prince Charles on the 29th of July 1981 ( my 18th Birthday!) and not in the February....no malice intended, i enjoyed the video thank you. 💐
February??? No . Lady Diana married Prince Charles in July 1981.
I thoroughly enjoyed getting a close look at the details of these famous dresses! I especially like Marie Chantal's dress, and Princess Katherine's dress was beautifully classic, just like her. Megan's was awful. To think that sack of nothing cost $265,000 is astonishing. Must have all gone into the veil. Wasn't a fan of Diana's either. To each his own!
Charles and Diana were married on 29th of July 1981. Not the date you state
Spoilt by the awful A1 narration mispronouncing so many names.
That was not the crownpricess Margaretha of Sweden, but her granddaughter in the photo used. That's where you lost me...
Why is EVERYTHING markle wears SO boring?? The only thing missing is that it wasn't blah-beige and ill fitting.
Her hair looked like she just got out of bed.
Why are you asking that? You of no style whatsoever.
@@butterflybeatlesHalf of the women in major countries were wearing the messy bun. Britain seems the only one who didn’t know anything about the style. So don’t pretend you know what style is.
It was NOT ill fitting. It was a beautiful foil for the busy veil that had all the flowers of the Commonwealth embroidered on it. Obviously, the people making this video thought the same.
Markle’s dress didn’t fit her. She kept fighting with the seamstresses. A twice married woman wearing a white dress and long veil is pretty tacky.
Please SLOW down!!!!! Nightmare to follow!!!!!🤮🤮🤮
NEXT TIME-PLEASE make sure the narration /narrator knows HOW TO CORRECTLY PRONOUNCE fabrics like “faille,” “organza,” “Chantilly,” etc. The crazy mispronunciations were seriously distracting.🤦🏻♀️
Your dates are wrong Princess Diana married in July not February. Queen Letizia married in 2004 a week after Mary and Frederick of Denmark married. I also think your prices might be wrong. You give them,in $$ and I know for a fact that Meghan Markles was around the £200,000 mark, the custom fabric was £80,000.
What a boring and factually incorrect announcer!
The veil originally came via Princess Margaret Connaught. King Fredrick's maternal great grandmother.
I still think Diana's wedding dress was absolutely 💯 wonderful. The fairytale dress
