Enlightenfent is probably the most brilliantly executed Fakemon I've ever seen. It just gets better and more layered the more you look at it, somehow without being overdesigned or overly complex.

I love the idea of Ronk having multiple evolutions based on how you raise it, and I think Stongre and Awakiln could actually be two sides of the same coin, Stongre evolving with higher physical attack and negative Friendship values while Awakiln would evolve with higher physical attack and high friendship. Meanwhile Enlitenfent and Knohm could evolve with high physical and special defense respectively
ohhh cool ideas! that's a fantastic way of making them all fit!
I like this better than my original idea.
High Attack with Hate = Stongre
High Attack with Love = Awakiln
High Sp.Atk with Hate = Knohm
High Sp.Atk with Love = Bouldai
Neither Love nor Hate = Enlitenfent
(The description they gave would need to be changed for Knohm, but it literally destroys its own body to evolve which could say something).
(Edit) My post is basically just a spectrum from 0-255 Friendship. Lol
I think Ron's version could fit well as Rock/Fairy type instead to differentiate all five evolutions being hypothetically alongside each other.
In my mind I think of Bouldai being the second stage while Enlightenfent, Stongre, Knohm and Awakiln could be split third stages, Stongre representing body (high Attack), Enlightenfent the mind (high Defense), Awakiln the soul (high Sp.Atk), and Knohm being the True Nirvana, the balance of them, the hardest to achieve and most powerful (with Atk, Sp.Atk, Def and Sp.Def all equal).
The first thing that popped in my head when I saw the name ronk, was emperor’s new groove “Pull the lever Ronk! Wrong lever!!!”
As an Indian person, I approve of Enlitenfent. Very cool design, I think it portrayed it's inspirations beautifully.
DAMN Vergo cooked hard on this one, Awakiln goes unbelievably insane.
Orcrunch gives the same vibes as Luxray, an extremely cool shoe-in for every team!!

I love gnawtacroc, and orcrunch honestly looks perfect. Duplicetus is great and has a perfect name and i think it deserves a third evolution.
I absolutely love gnawtacroc's line, also being 'not a croc' and reminding me of the evolution of whales slowly going back into the sea is a really nice touch :D

This was a great twist on the 4 Artists Fakemon series, and it was nice to see other artists interpretation on one Pokemon, and to see on which path do they take the Pokemon.
Haven't begun the video yet, but I know it's gonna be a certified true green banger, just like every video in the playlist.
I always love Vergo’s approach to character creation. This was a really fun variation on the 4 Artists series.
the elephant guy and awakiln are awesome. Particularly I love how awakiln is made of shapes that you just don't see being used in pokemon designs. It's got holes! And it is in the avatar state! Please continue this series the collaboration is awesome!
Enlitenfent is such a believable evolution
After how much they've worked together, the idea of Vergo reaching directly into Ron's brain to pull out his ideas sounds completely believable.
I'd love to see more of this twist on the four artists design fakemon, maybe someone else that is on the group could create the base form to try and create from that? I would love to see something created by Bonny or Bilsu and what you and the others come up with.
Great designs! My favorite of the batch has to be the Orcrunch line. Everything about it flows so well with the base form.

I though the jewel slits on Enlitenfent’s face were the eyes, and the slits above were eyebrows, but now I also see the thin line eyes and a jewel smile
Everyone did such a good job on these, but I got a couple of highlights:
Orcrunch is. So beautiful. I'm in love with this thing, damn. Like... No words, no notes, nothing. My new favorite thing right there.
Ronk is such a cute little guy, damn. And Enlitenfent is so cool! Knohm kinda looks like it has a moustache (and then Ron mentions it in the video, oops). Awakiln's face reminds me of dunsparce... But by god, I love the concept of this thing. And Bouldai is so darn cute, too. Both in design and concept, I love it!

Ronk and Bouldai would be such a great counterpart to Drowzee/Hypno, Spoink/Grumpig, and the Musharna line

@@AztecCroc It already has fairly ok (special)attack stats. Boost that up and it's not only tanky but hits fairly hard! It's really good tbh. It gives you the option to use it offensively if you want to without it being practically made of glass, or to use it as a decent wall; good versatility is impressive

I love the design for Awakiln because it actually looks reminiscent of Koloktos from LoZ: Skyward Sword
It's so cool, I'd definitely have it in my party.
I really love Vergo's evolutions because when I saw the fakemon and the ability I really thought about the blue whales ancestor the Pakicetus

What fun! I made a musk deer/vampire deer Pokemon a while back! It is surprising, that not one, but TWO different artists knew enough about the actual animal enough to make them into fakemon for this video! ❤️ The different takes on them too are wonderful! 🥰 Lovely as always seeing how you bring the community together Ron!

I liked both takes on Vampeer and Phantler. I loved Vergo's Gnawtacroc and Orcrunch. The moment I saw Orcrunch, I thought to myself, "I NEED IT!" the same way Spongebob needed water in that episode where he first went to Sandy's place.
While I enjoyed the Ronk portion of the video, my only critique with Ronk and Bouldai was that it didn't register with me that they were meant to be pig-inspired until you stated it. I thought that they were humanoid.
I love how Bonny always makes sick presentations before showing his fakemon, I get so hyped and I appreciate his commitment to this series

This is like when they reveal the first stage starters for a new gen I love it
competitive player here, Awakiln would be very good in OU depending on its moveset. Physical draining kisses, future sights, earth powers, power gems, and more would be insane in the meta, and that special defense is a godsend. I can see an assault vest set or a bulk up + shore up set
I'd love to see this type of ability for a Pokemon, something like this:
Solid Spirit: "Physical Attacks used by this Pokemon are treated as Special Attacks."
Shifting Soul: "Special Attacks used by this Pokemon are treated as Physical Attacks."
As soon as i saw Hyoneer i couldn't think of anything but hyena. The spots, the head placement, the personality.
A cheeky hyena pokemon would be an amazing evolution.
Matter Mind I see being one of those "the impact it has is the one with the most beneficial to the user effect" type abilities. IE whether the attack is Psychical or Special depends on the stats of the target.
Like how Shell Arm Smash can be either physical or special, in this case Matter Mind could make all moves run on your highest offensive stat relative to the individual combat.

The way Vergo does the Dex pages is so cool looking. Honestly i wish this was how they were in the actual game. Like the dex could actively show the pokemons environment in the dex itself

Ronk turning into Stongre which is inspired by oni accidentally also turned into a Buddhist reference with Shuten Douji who in some iterations was a monk turned oni

Oh now this is a fascinating idea. Taking something you designed and saying hey design an evo for this could really give you ideas for future mons. Plus everybody has such unique ideas it also shows how different people are when it comes to their own design concepts
Enlitenfent would be on my team in a heartbeat
I can easily see Ronk evolving into any and all of these potential evolutions based on the Friendship Mechanic:
- 0-50 (Malevolent) = Evolves into Stongre (The hatred that it harbors for its trainer has corrupted it, turning it into a Malevolent Monster. Trainers that own Stongre are rarely trusted due to the circumstances that lead to its evolution. Stongre are known to attack their trainers unexpectedly, so it is advised to exercise caution while training this Pokemon.)
- 51-101 (Anxious) = Evolves into Awakiln (The anxiety that this Pokemon feels can be seen through it's constantly shifting sand body. Whether the consciousness of this Pokemon resides in the inner core's body or the outer shell remains a mystery. Despite it's anxiety, Awakiln are proud of who they were and how far they have come.)
- 52-152 (Neutral) = Enlitenfent (This Pokemon is in a constant state of tranquility and neutrality, many which consider to be a state of enlightenment. Enlitenfent is a solid mass of psychic energy in a rock casing made hard by its mental fortitude. It focuses its psychic energy through it's trunk, he only part of its body capable of movement.)
- 153-203 (Benevolent) = Bouldai (This Pokemon is constantly trying to help others and do good deeds because of its benevolent nature. Its upbringing has caused its kindness to grow exponentially. It never acquires possessions or attachments, and loves bringing joy to children. It will occasionally gift random strangers with precious stones.)
- 204-255 (Narvana) = Knohm (This Pokemon has reached a state of Narvana, separating its spirit from its physical form. Eternally calm and knowledgeable, Knohm are often sought for guidance. It uses the Gem on its head and the remains of its stone body to channel spiritual energy. While pacifist in nature, it will not hesitate to defend itself or others.)
Also, I feel like your description on Bouldai... it should have abilities focused on throwing away or being unable to use items. Kluts and Unburden would be interesting to see, especially on a 65 speed Pokemon (effectively becoming a 130 speed Pokemon, yikes).
(Edit) Arguably Bouldai and Knohm can be swapped

I think all of Ronk's evolutions would make a great split evo like the Hitmons. They're all so different yet so plausible to the original!!
Loved this idea! My favorite of the video was probably Gnawtacroc, I just loved the energy and pose. Knohm was a close second! Great job to everyone though :)
This has given me an idea that could be fun. A fakemon evolution relay. Basically you all design a three stage evolution, but with every stage it is passed to the next artist just like this and allow them to interpret the previous artist's ideas

Would be cool to see you and your guest create a Pokémon based off of word chains. Like Flower-Power-Lifter could be a Grass Fighting weightlifting Pokémon and when it evolves a new word can be added to modify it further like Sun-Flower-Power-Lifter.
Part two would be excellent. That Orca one is insaaane.
my favourite of any of the series' that ron does is when he brings other artists in like this! no matter what everyone comes up with, it's always so incredible to see everyone's amazing ideas!
Which creators does the "Hacking into the mind" concept say more of? The guest creators who are able to well recognize design aspects and grow on them accordingly, or on Ron who was able to place those design aspects well enough to keep a simple cute and unobvious design, but make those looking for that inspiration behind it can easily see what's there? Food for thought. (My answer is both)

I was looking for a video on the top 10 best designed routes in Pokémon and noticed this idea was extremely underutilised. This might be a great idea for a new video Ron!

This was such a strong episode! Hyoneer and Ronk were perfect starting prompts to inspire the other artists, and what each of them came up with were so good! I loved all of them! I hope you make another video like this in the future. It was really cool to see how different artists' creative minds come up with unique designs.

Seeing other takes on the evolution for Ronk made me happy because I always want to learn a bit more on buddism and how it's incorperated into Pokemon.

That… has to be one of the best Fakemon names I’ve heard in quite some time!
Hey, Ron! You should do a drawing game like telephone/Gartic phone where you show contestant 1 a first Evo and they evolve it with no knowledge, then con1 gives con2 only the second stage and tells them it’s the first stage and ask them to evolve it to the “second stage”.
Repeat until the final contestant is told the design they get is the second Evo and need to make the “third Evo”.
At the end you’ll have a pokemon with more than 3 stages of evolution if you have enough contestants!
Wouldn’t that be fun?
Of course I want to see more of this, though I would love it if the concept was expanded to using fan-submitted concepts as the bases.
Due to its eyes, I feel like the first baltoy were made when humans took sand from Awakiln and fashioned them into idols in the ancient past.

Orcrunch would easily be in my top 10 favorite pokemon of all time. It resembles Obstagoon, but it is extremely clean in its design, colors, and linework. That Pokemon is absolutely amazing!

Absolutely crazy episode! 5 artists with similar inspiration but such different ideas, really awesome! Cool to see Ronk back, I loved the original your walk pokemon series.
God the Hyoneer lines feel like it could be like a double split Evo! Like Hyoneer could evolve into either Gnawtacroc or a Dhampir style pre-evo and then those two could split again with Gnawtacroc becoming either Orcrunch or Duplicetus and the Dhampir could evolve into either of the two Vampeers!
Although doing that would completely remove Phantler from it which I'm sad about cus it's probably my favorite from that group

I also have a video idea! You could get either fans or Poketubers to submit their Pokemon Dream Team of Six and then you analyse their team and tastes and simply try to create a Pokemon that you think they'd love and that appeals to them. And it'd be easy to know how successful it is by simply asking the person. Could be cool :)

Ooh, love this concept! Please do another - it's a great twist on the 4 Artists series, and a great way to spice up its concept. It's just that the prompt is now an image, rather than a phrase.

I feel like Ronk would be one of those Pokémon that has two evolution paths. An enlightened form accomplished through establishing a bond with its trainer and another corrupted form gained through leveling up through battle.
Virgo's Orcrunch line is one if my favorite fakemon of all time. Like damn.
