I am genuinely obsessed with Cymbobo and i want to have one in game so bad. I wanna bring it all the way to the league and play with it in the poke amie. The design is SO GOOD
It takes a special design to make me think ‘I want this in a Pokemon game’, to the degree that I’m sad it isn’t in a game, but you NAILED it.
Btw, before you said anything, I thought that the aura of the steel one was letting off steam/heat like you might hear/see in a process of stamping or molding metal, just made cube-looking to fit The Vibe. So that one still works well, intentional or otherwise lol

At 35:54 you can see he messed up the color of one of the cymbals, so I think he just used a fill tool to color the shinies as quick as he could which ngl is pretty clever with such limited time

almost like peoples are doesnt need to be in a box and it can be fun and creative and not stripped of personality that only falls into one type of design. Its almost like it gets annoying when someone, aka Ron, continuously harps on it and doesnt see the value in someones art because he's convinced himself the only way to make pokemon designs is to specifically follow how the company makes pokemon and that taking creative liberties is somehow bad

NGL I could see Pescerouge being a great physical sweeper with Speed Boost, even after just one turn, since it's base speed should be decent enough to help it out turn 1. It could also be paired with an assault vest to help with its special defense on turn 1, in case it gets outsped.
Harry Gold brought absolute chaos this episode, and he absolutely needs to come back for more episodes LMAO
Or if it gets a physical set up move it could be a life orb user, fairy is a good offensive type and water is pretty good.

Depending on the meta, PU-NU is where Pescerouge stands. Unless it has a really good set up move then it’ll be RU
It wouldn’t be an elite competitive option but it’d be a great option at some levels especially if it could get something like Bulk Up or Swords Dance

Cymbobo feels like he could be a mythical pokemon that you get through an event.

Let's not forget that Harry, amongst #JustCymbobo , _also_ converted Charlie Brown into Ken Sugumori's style, _and_ made the coolest shrimp in the west. He literally put together FORTY IMAGES for this video. The only thing that'd make it better is if Crusteeny was based on the Mantis Shrimp, which punches so hard it creates light. Easily the most badass form of bio-luminescence I've seen.
A cool addition to Bramblight could have been golden sheep from Greek mythology that Psyche has to collect wool from but they're super violent, so she gets told to pull wool off nearby brambles. And Bramblight happens to have a golden-ish face!

Edit: Omg after watching the video, this is easily my favourite episode ahahhahahah. You all did so well. Cuppaphee's artstyle is soooo good, I adore it so much. I love Bilsu's Zelda inspired mons and his designs were amazing, TrueGreen knocked it out of the park as always (and appreciate you using the example of Pretty Ugly that I gave in my comment, it turned out great). And of course, Harry is just insane with his 36 different forms for Cymbobo, not even to mention how good he is at recreating the Sugimori artstyle.
Truly an awesome episode, well done you guys. Would love to see all of these artists in future episides for sure.

Aw, I wish I would’ve been able to participate in this. As soon as I heard the prompt I immediately thought of a Pokémon to fit the Oxymoron of “Alone Together” which would’ve been a group of 7 rodents (mice/rats) that are Dark and Ghost types bc only one is actually alive…the lore I thought up is that they are born as a group Pokémon similar to Maushold, Exeggcute, etc. but they are hunted by Falinks, each of the 6 Falinks grabs and eats one with the 7th survivor then being haunted/protected by the ghosts of its siblings and becoming part Ghost type so it’s no longer weak to fighting

I do Love many Other Typs of Pokemon too, but No clear Idea what IT IS Like umbreon, kanghaskan, tragosso and mew and such are my Favorit in principle
Maybe some good video/series idea could have a prompt of predator vs prey, a prompt to create a regional form, unique evolutions or gimmicks, etc.
Examples to further explain my ideas could be: The predator Pokémon pretends to be the prey, so it attracts it to eat it, and the prey pretends to be the predator so the real predator wouldn’t eat it. The regional variant prompt “This Pokémon’s environment suddenly became colder, so the Pokémon had to adapt to it”, and then they can draw an ice type Sandygast + evolution or any other Pokémon. And then the third prompt is probably self explanatory, but I mean like with how Shelmet and Karrablast evolve when traded with each other, Primeape evolves by using a move 20 times, and Wishiwashi has a gimmick to change form above level 20 and has above 25% health.

I love Apollaunch, but I think it's funny that all the compliments were that it looked like it could be from all of these other franchises. I honestly think it would be cool for these videos just to be general monster designs and not be constrained to just Pokemon, but I understand that Pokemon is the theme of this channel and also probably performs better in the algorithm.

Your videos have inspired me so much over the past few months. I'm a huge Pokemon fan of like 15 years, and art hobbiest, and I never thought to try my hand at a Pokemon region just for funsies. Your "Ten People make a Pokemon" series was one I HAD to try with some buddies of mine, and it was so much fun to learn about new things for inspiration and think outside of the box.
Currently I'm drawing along with you guys, trying to find something to fit the prompt. Keep up the inspiring work, and amazing job to the other artists as well, beautiful works from everyone!

Harry is a master of Pokemon theming it's insane how much sense his designs just make, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Crusteeny just in a Pokemon game used by a champion because his crusteeny "made it big"
I love the concept for this video. Hopefully you do more of this and expand on it, like you gather a group of artist like in this video and all of you draw region variants of the same 5-10 Pokémon, I think that would make for a interesting video and maybe regional variations of Pokémon that don’t have regional forms. Keep up the amazing videos, I love it when you draw Pokémon and we watch the process

An awesome series would be to have three or four artist and each artist get 1 stage of the evolution up to a mega or gigantamax form. The artist that gets the first stage could draw there vision for the final evolution as well as see how close they were. Would love to see a video like this. Cymbobo really reminds me of the show "Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!" with its different types and color monkeys. And I'm surprised that no one did a Pokémon based on the actual word "oxymoron" because the word in and of itself is an oxymoron. "Oxy" means sharp and "moron" means dull. So it's "sharp dull"

HarryGoldShow's work is truly next level, raising the bar for what's possible in future episodes. The level of creativity flowing in this series is inspirational! Definitely genna be some late-night design sessions after this episode. Love the inspiration behind all designs. So much care, creativity, and research to create these amazing Fakemons! Fingers crossed that some day PokemonCompany or GameFreak catch wind of these amazing Fakemons. They'd be a perfect fit to expand the universe! Really hope this will be the next step for Pokemon.

33:43 a few of those designs I wish he had designed more changes in the mon rather than showcasing the difference in energy. You wouldn't want to go change the whole monkey (like bulk on a fighting type or bug antenna on the bug type but maybe play with the tail or the steel one the whole body could have just been grey like metal Etamon and that would have been enough. Interesting concept, maybe just needed more time to cook.
