I have been watching your CZcams for the past few months.
I'm writing to you to seek some guidance.
Let me tell you some of my story:
I am Vijay. I'm a 23-year-old BCOM graduate presently working as a content moderator for the company for the past 2 years in Hyderabad, India. I want to switch my career to any other high-paying job. I don't know how I got to know about this project or the product manager. I loved this role, and I thought this could be a possible way to get me into the tech industry. I love this industry, but the problem is that I am not from a tech background or do not even have an engineering degree. Then I took a course from Coursera, Google Project Management, which is project-related. Then, through some CZcams videos, I learned about PMI's CAPM exam. I attempted, then I failed 🙁(a little expensive). Prep is not enough to crack that. But I do not want to use that as an excuse. I am attempting once again.
And now, the problem is that I am prepared by default for project management, and I want to get a product manager or a Product role (APM, analyst, etc); these are two different roles in the market. I want to be a product manager. I was confused a lot. Give me some guidance, please.
What could be a possible way? How can I achieve this job? the skills needed, the mindset needed, and other stuff to get me to this role. I don't even have a circle or community to get this information. For the past six months, I've been trying to get fit in this Industry.
Please help me with this.
