    We are bearing puller manufacturer in China and focus on export wholesale. I think this video is very good! It teach many people how to use bearing puller. 👍👍

    Great video, explained very well.. I had to change my hub as well I used the same tool it works great wrapped it around the hub used a Ratchet to tighten up.. tighten it up good with a little pressure used the ball pin hammer one hit came right out. The best tool in this situation 👌 👏

    Appreciate the video, think I still have to take mine to someone, it's just not coming off but at least it's one more way of trying.

    What size socket did you use? I’m seeing 35mm or 1 3/8 but neither has worked

    Paul great video, I noticed you had some sort of sled on your jack under the frame. Is that a jack attachment, or is that part of the '03 frame?

    Im doing a chevy captiva 2009 and i could not get this off, even with a huge ass digger it didnt budge. Ordered a 15 ton hub puller but im worried its going to push the driveshaft too hard towards the gearbox and crack it.

    Hello , you should provide a link for the Tool so we can check it out and you also
    cut short your video , so we can not see the process of the Bearing coming off !

    The value of this is showing the possible fails one could mistake and do. I have a 2WD and just picked up a hub for it, but I think I may have got the wrong one. If you have no half axle, why should there be a center nut and splines, it has to be wrong.

    • @merrittmcdowell8675
      @merrittmcdowell8675 Před 5 lety

      They used a lot of the same parts from 4x4 to 2wd to save money, if in question pull the wheel and look i bet yours has splines for an axle despite being 2wd

    Paul we had the front hubs done a year ago on our Dodge Durango and they went bad in 1 year. This seems not correct. Highway driving. Your thoughts?

    • @Dixler683
      @Dixler683 Před 3 lety

      Morgan, seems correct. Use a high quality replacement. Many hubs have inferior bearings and fail like clockwork. Google it. Crap bearings.

    Paul does your 03 have dual piston brakes up front? RT or just regular?

    • @70MoparMan

      chvydrptop
      I believe it was a single piston. This is not the R/T, it is 4.7 Litre.

    How did you removed that without taking off the nut?

    • @70MoparMan
      @70MoparMan  Před 2 lety

      You loosen the nut and leave it in place to protect the splines from damage. Once hub is loose finish by removing the nut.

    As I recall and after reviewing the video, I believe it is part of the frame. What I neglected was to the use of Jack Stands but did recommend there use. I hope my video helped you get your job done and didn't have to go through the trial and errors I did.

    When he put the nut on the axle. He was pulling on the same part that the nut was pushing against. Worthless even trying something like that.

    • @70MoparMan
      @70MoparMan  Před 6 lety +1

      Timo, you are correct. I was also learning as I went along and if you continued watching you would have seen I caught the error. A tip I learned long ago is to leave a nut on loosely to prevent parts from flying off and landing on toes and also to prevent damaging threads. Thanks for watching.
