- The G-Project G-Store AM FM Bluetooth NOAA Weather Alert Emergency Portable Radio is not your typical Survival Information Center. Sporting No Dynamo, or Solar Panel, the Receiver relies on its internal Lithium Battery, and Standard AA Batteries to Stay Running. During this Video I go over the Basics, and Perform an Evening Medium Wave Band Scan. It has amazing pulling power, when paired with a Terk Advantage Passive Loop. It grabbed a Cuban Station 1,700 Miles away! A must have item if you listen to the AM band on a Regular basis. The Radio isn't Half Bad either :)

Overall, this is a Great Emergency Radio to have on Hand. Just keep Extra batteries for it, in case you don't keep up with the Charge Cycles. The Excellent Speaker Audio is pleasing, while Tuning the AM Band. A Strong Performer, and Worth the $34.88 USD.

Thought this was a joke radio when I first saw it at WalMart. It lives up to Todderbert's review...very cool! AM: excellent selectivity, OK sensitivity; I used my Terk tuned loop with it and it's amazing. I can get the local stations when they go low-power at night (w/the terk)...as opposed to not at all with other radios! Love it for local Bloomberg business+weather. FM: just ok, nice to have the presets. Noisy when recharging...leave it alone.

Impressive! With a real good table radio I can hear Cuba on those low frequencies, like 530, 580, and 640.
Neat little unit!! Wish it didn't have that digital selectivity. However, I'm 50 miles north of Phoenix, so the night time AM skip might not be too bad , since most of those locals drop power.

Wonder if this will replace the Sony P27 at WalMart. I’d guess that they’ve just been out of stock on the Sony but wonder.
Do you know of any emergency radios with usbc?
There are a couple that are starting to use it for charging, but not output.
