Once again, I love the old school basic Jeeps doing these trails. Fun to watch! I do have what I consider an overkill build I am working on but I also have an old Scout that belonged to my Grandfather that I want to leave very much stock and take it off roading.
It’s funny to see the current generation of her owners. They dress them up so much they look like some kind of zombie apocalypse hot wheels then still can’t drive it. Then these guys go through some pretty rough stuff with what little they have.
Thanks so much for sharing Stan. I bet you guys had a great time. I have a 59, so I know they are a handful. BTW, you always have someone in the comment section that wants to show they are smarter than every other person who loved your video. Keep being You and keep the videos coming.
Thanks Phillip for your kind words. We are having a great time wherever we go. I mostly ignore the “armchair wheelers.” Sometimes when they disparage my friends I give a response before deleting their comment. It’s always interesting to me what people find it necessary to comment about. Thanks for watching.
I run a CJ7 with 35s and a sammi with 32s. I love the looks on chrysler owner's when I get where they are, and I didn't spend 75,000 bucks! Just like you purists!!!!
What most people don't know these old Willy's jeeps were stock with four cyl. flatheads. They were built with the lowest gears ever in Jeep history though.
Gramps 48 is one Bada** 4 cyl. with what, 60 to 70 HP and probably still has the original tires! Refresh my memory if I'm wrong on that Willy's but I remember them as a kid sounding like a large tractor engine.
W Adams The stock L134 “Go Devil” engine is rated at 60 hp. In front it sounds like a sewing machines. In the back it sounds like a small boat motor. 😋
Capable is a word used by chrysler to make people believe their vehicles can do these trails in stock form🤮. The word that describes these REAL Jeep's is, "PROVEN"!
8:23 is that a military willys (probably an mb or a gpw) with a cj tub?? I'm asking because I see a military grill with the small headlights but a side fuel filler cap on the tub, so is the grill swapped or the tub??
@@Grampas-jeep so it's probably a mix of the things I said, it's cool anyways it's amazing what those little jeeps are capable of, keep jeepin man!! I love your content!!
Flat-Ulance, ad you have probably guessed is a play on words starting with the “flat” from flatfender. Mike built this Jeep out of a bunch of different only smelly spare parts that he had laying around and it does smoke and smell a little at times so he that the moniker Flat-ulance seemed appropriate. Thanks for watching.
I’m trying to edit a trail guide and I see Stan Fuller has posted so I stop to watch the flat fenders make us all look like fools! Then I look back at my edit and just think, I need a CJ2A!
They are not, but they are mostly stock, all they have are lockers and transfercase gears, and looks like a couple have winches. Besides that, they don't have any beefed up suspension, axles, engines, power steering, or anything else fancy or aftermarket.
@@flight2k5 Uh, no, very few jeeps would be able to do this stock. Maaaayyyyybbbeee a Rubicon. If you refer back to my previous comment, you'd see where I said they do it without all the fancy stuff that all the modern Jeepers are putting on their rigs. And no, a stock Jeep will not do all these things.
Man...these guys have mad skills! Hell, half the guys I know can’t even drive a stick!
Looks like more fun, but far less comfort than a new Jeep Rubicon! I think its totally worth it!
These guys must go through starters and clutches like crazy. Great video.

Guy In the grey sweatshirt cracks me up! He's so excited reminds me of every person I take wheeling for the first time lol
Now when I watch videos of Jeeps with bigger tires in Moab, I'm just thinking: "Overbuilt"!
Same! Where's the fun in jeeping if you press buttons to lock hubs and axles and you just roll pver everything with no problems?!
Yup yup totally agree with you!
These are locked... but it is cool
Well it is moab, you can take a stock mini van and do many of the " obstacles"

I think you guys are Awesome!! Just bought my first Willys and can’t wait to enjoy it like you guys enjoy yours!
31:50 That jeep has a beautiful exhaust tone . Glad you boys are back , sure did miss you 😄👍👍🇺🇸
You guys are my heroes.

Unreal! Heck of a job on No Left Turn!
The best flat fender video of all time 😋 👌 🙌
This is the best I've seen in a long time,,, !! 👍👍
Looks like fun , wish I could’ve made it. Enjoy my friends safe wheeling
that dog is the best.
Makes me wish I kept it stock.

Never forget the beginnings excellent.

That's extreme off road... incredible how capable those Jeeps are.
They’re not stock
@@flight2k5 What is different from the stock version?
Mauricio Castro they are locked front and rear

@@flight2k5 other than locker's and some have newer motors, but the rest is pure unadulterated jeep!
If only everyone else drove like Stan they would get through the trail alot faster...
Always impressive!!! But you never ride in muddy areas with your ols ladies?
I am in love with Ward’s 2a....hoping mine is that sorted someday! Do you know if he’s still running a carb Stan?
Oh yeah, that's why he suffers on steep accents.
Should get a Weber with a res float.
Awesome job - Do you guys have lockers in these vehicles?
They said in some other videos most of them have at least one locker.
I miss wheeling with you guys!
Grand pa Jeep is the one that suffered the more ... :(
