Hello friends. Now we will see. How we managed to overcome the altitude threshold on the dji Mini 3 Pro drone. So to speak, to hack the flight altitude.
This test used a stock battery, a stock remote control, and an auto-landing feature.
As you can see, the sport mode was used to make the drone gain altitude much faster and to make the most of the battery.
Also, as you can see, we decided to speed up the video in order not to take too much time and the rise seemed to you the fastest. And you can see as soon as possible what we can do.
And now, after such a short period of time, we have already exceeded the maximum maximum flight height of this drone, which is 500 meters.
Look, at such a height you can see the beautiful beauties of our land. Already from here the houses seem to be just small grains of sand on the sea beach.
Video recording, Unfortunately, we had to turn it off in order to save battery power as much as possible, which, as we were afraid, would not be enough to fly up, and even more afraid that it would not be enough to return back.
On the top right of the screen recording, you can see that the remote control signal is barely enough to control the drone at such an altitude. It shows only 2 scales of division of the communication signal with the remote control out of 5 possible. But it should be noted that the GPS signal catches at a fairly high level - 25 satellites. Which is not surprising at such a height.
Here is the icon of automatic landing at the takeoff point, which we cannot refuse, so we continue to fly upwards very slowly. To trottle up.
Now it turns out to climb only at a speed of 3.6 km h, let me remind you that at the beginning this speed was almost 20 km h.
The automatic return procedure continues at this time.
So we have already overcome the mark of 1800 m, at the same time the battery charge has fallen below 60%.
On the top left, you can also see that the critically low battery icon is on.
That is, according to the calculations of the drone, there will not be enough batteries for a long time to land normally, but at least we must take off as much as possible.
Closer to 1900 meters, each meter is given with a fight. And now we see that we have finally reached 1900 meters, we are starting a rapid downward descent. The speed increased sharply to 11 km/h.
Well, this is a great result of our experiment, so it's time to return to the takeoff point. Fortunately for us, the video was made on screen recording, because the drone finally lost contact with the remote control. But after 10 minutes on the auto landing function, he finally re-established contact, at a perfectly normal altitude of 200 meters.
I'll tell you, even more, that after such a dangerous flight. We even managed to get our drone back with almost 10% battery life.

It's a fake video ! On Drone Hack there is still no possibility to hack the altitude for this drone model. It's only possible for the Dji mini 2. It doesn't show the drone in the video nor the firwmare version let alone how to turn off the 500m limit. This must have been done with a Mini 2. This was done under an old firmware update. It will not work under newer firmware. Even on drone hack it's not possible

I hope they do because this is illegal in most countries and these videos just encourage people to copy this behaviour. Very dangerous for manned and passenger aircraft that also could share the airspace. Our drone hobby and for some, their job, is already over regulated with burdensome laws and complications. Doing this just doesn't help us!!!
If you're going to do this please at least mention that there could be laws broken if the viewers try this stunt.
