This is an aerial view from the game Transport Fever using triple monitors. The resolution is 5760x1080. If you look carefully you can spot a lot of different trains.

Whoa.... Viewing on a conventional 24" widescreen monitor three feet away is not ideal for this. But it's darn impressive even so.

Did the city develop it self over the river or how did you do that?

That was a while ago. But if I remember correctly. The city spread on it's own. And then I added some buildings manually.
