But financial mismanagement and reluctance to change senior players screwed Barça over.
Lamasia is like their bail out of this financial mess. Barca is one lucky club , playing their lamasia babies is helping them right now . If they haven't crumbled financially , none of their Teenage sensation would have seen the first team.
Real managed their team well , willing to let go of superstars and don't say Barca couldn't complete with them financially three or four years back.
No one expects Yamal to score a lot of goals. For now, I'm just happy with his dribbling and general gameplay

Yamal needs 3 things:
1) Keep his head on straight, keep working hard, and coaches not putting too much pressure on him too early
2) Develop a better weak foot/become two footed
3) Luck with avoiding injury issues
If he gets those 3, he's gonna be the first true successor of Messi, and FCB's #10 and franchise player for the next 2 decades.

ITs great that Bojan has been given this role to oversee young players They told him to start with Ansu at brigthon which is another good sign that maybe Ansu will someday be back. With Lamine, Barca need to really strongly talk to Spanish federation and national team coach as not to hurt him. I wish Lamine had picked Morocco honestly so he would play in less international tournaments and maybe be protected a lot more.

Yamal is facing an issue even Messi didn't have when he started out. He's arguably Barca's best player this season (at least in his position). Sure we may not want him to be over used and have a to of pressure on him but its going to happen because the club needs him and when he does play he's sensational.

All this Messi comparison to young La Masia players needs to stop. Lamine is only 16 and in one of his interviews he says: "Pressure is what you create for himself." and I cannot agree more. He just needs to play his own game, and not think about filling in Messi's shoes. He doesn't need to be the next Messi he can be himself.
