    This is such an accurate depiction of British “lad” culture. I loved the way “it’s a bit gay” got the American audience cringing but it’s so accurate to the kind of thing this kind of guy would say. Idris was amazing in this sketch and honestly I feel like this was the best sketch of the night!

    Americans always over-exaggerate the poshness of British accent. Football presenters don’t have this accent, they actually sound more like Idris’ character :)

    Let's forget the several incorrect terminologies and appreciate that an American comedy sketch on soccer was not inherantly based on trashing the game itself. As an American soccer fan, I am proud with how the game has grown in this country. We've come a long way from the Simpsons' "Open wide for some soccer" bit.
