He is. If you watch the first time he hosted, he reveals that he wanted to be a cast member on the show and that he's been a fan of the show for most of his life. Plus, Momoa is just that kind of guy in general.

Matthew Warren i don’t think it was that deep, the joke was just when u watch these court shows it’s always like 20 minutes of agony because one person looks normal and one person is like cartoonishly strange and very clearly guilty, so instead of wasting time with the trail he just convicted. i don’t think they were going for any meaningful commentary, just a joke about these dumb court shows
The skit's about 1st Impressions but the focus is not a commentary about the "Court System" being bias. There are guys out there like LaDenzel. They can be any race and are easy to spot. Judge them when you see them because dating a guy like that is asking for trouble.
