This is the twenty-seventh lesson in a series of lessons using the Hal Leonard Guitar Method Book 1 as our primary source of instruction. This lesson focuses on page 31 and teaches the concept of "repeats." It also teaches some new songs including "Sea Shanty", "Frère Jacques", and "Snake Charmer." Hope you enjoy.
This series is not intended to replace the Hal Leonard Guitar method, but to act as a supplement to it. You will need a copy of the book to be successful using this series. I've included an Amazon link to the book below.

You can't put the notes when you play the songs?

This series is designed to work along side the book. You’ll need to have a legally purchased copy of the Hal Leonard method to fully utilize this series. Placing the notes on the screen would violate copyright law.

I seem to frequently get a different intonation or emphasis (if that makes sense) of the note on the downstroke compared to the upstroke. I notice it once in awhile when you play it as well. It seems to be linked to the attack or pluck angle of the pick to the string. So there must be a correct way to hold the pick. Please elaborate. Thanks.
