I think “Great Balls of Fire” is super underrated. I really think it was bare minimum top 5
As somebody who was at Elimination Chamber 2017, everybody in the building left that show happy and joyful, which honestly seems to feel like a rarity for most PPVs nowadays. I still have vivid memories of an arena full of people happily singing "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands" as we all made our way out.
I was at Hell In A Cell, that tag match was incredible.

Smack down 2016/2017 was 3x better than the current smack down roster tho
Fahim Rahman agreed. The rosters are pretty small rn but pack a punch. It’s perfect. And a lot of young talent can work some ppvs because of the amount of performers opting to stay home

2017, the year SmackDown went to shit - although it started the year well. Didn’t recover until 2018
I think we all knew smackdowm was going to lower it’s quality after the god-awful superstar shakeup.
Yea 2017 was an average year because it started off good but after the shake up it went to shit
This was the year Jinder Mahal held the WWE Championship and Brock Lesnar held the Universal Championship. The prestige of those titles defiantly went down because of it.
thenoose 2k The Universal title didn’t lose any prestige because Brock Lesnar a bonafide main event star was holding it. It lost prestige because of the terrible booking and because he defended it 4 times a year and that was garbage. That’s what made the title go down.
Brock if anything gave it more prestige.

No lie I kind of miss brand exclusive ppvs it just sucks that wwe didn’t book a lot of good ones though the original draft and ppvs were better
2017 was bad year for WWE just because of world championships.
Brock was mostly absent from there and we had Jinder as the world champion on Smack Down
after the superstar shakeup , smackdown was the never the same as it was in 2016

They should do this with every year that had at least one PPV per month.
My fav memory of that Punjabi Prison match was when Jinder went out to cut a promo along the lines of, "The only rule of the Punjabi Prison match is THERE ARE NO RULES," before going on to list the various rules of the match type. But without any degree of self-awareness.
I felt during single brand PPVs 2016- March 2018. Both brands need more star power for the PPVs.
The moment WWE gets more star power is the exact moment they ended the split branded PPVs.

Elimination Chamber was also the first PPV to have 3 women's matches (even if one of them ended in a double countout, but we got the awesome Nikki/Nattie Falls Count Anywhere match later because of it).
The disrespect of saying Naomi's first WWE title win after 8 years was a "filler"...
Because it was. It was put between Brock/Goldberg and Taker/Roman. There were 6 people involved and it lasted less than 6 minutes.

I was at that years Royal Rumble, I will never forget how deafening loud the crowd got boo'ing Roman and the pop Cena got for winning. I also remember Randy winning and everyone around was a mix of "oh thank god it wasn't Roman" and "Orton? Really? Orton?"

RR was a 1-2 match show, Mania was meh, a botched cash in, a dude winning the women’s MITB match, Jinder’s reign, and even more. Most of 2017 was ass.
The MVP’s of 2017 were AJ, Braun, and surprisingly Brock.

I think if we take Flair's record in WWE only, Edge has more title wins. I think it's not exact because WWE may not recognise title wins other promotions. Not like they do everytime.

A lot of people say Jinder Mahal returned to the company in phenomenal shape. I think that tells you just how much people don't pay attention to Jinder Mahal. He came back to the company in terrible shape
8:29 that 4-Way tag was done properly, because 4 men (1 from each team) were legal! Rather than that weird rule where only 2 people are legal despite it being a Fatal FOUR way, and teams have to tag themselves in. Idk why they don't do it like that more often, it makes much more sense.
As much as I love both the usos and new day from around that time, breezango should've been tag team champions, those fashion files segments were hilarious and they were over with the fans because of those segments and they should've had at least one reign with the tag team titles
