Red Bull No Paws Down or Downhill Longboarding at Full Speed.

- Few racing sports are as raw as downhill longboarding. Charging down a steep asphalt road on a piece of wood (sometimes carbon fibre) and two pairs of small wheels, usually without protective leather clothing, is as hardcore as it gets.
Imagine standing on top of a mountain pass in the far South of Slovenia. You are 1000 meters above sea level and in the middle of brown bear country. A thin white line at the bottom of your feet is marking the start line, three riders, with full-face helmets covering their faces, standing next to you. Only two out of four will progress to the next round, but that does not matter now. You try to calm you thoughts and focus on what you are getting into.
Suddenly you hear a voice you’ve been eagerly expecting for the last minute or so: “Riders ready?! Get set… Go!!!” By the time the starter is finished shouting, you are already pushing your longboard as fast you possibly can before ducking down for best aerodynamic performance.
You and the crew are now speeding into “Bear’s Guts” - a 4-kilometre long stretch of perfect asphalt with 18 hairpin turns, that gets up to 14% steep and enables speeds exceeding 80 kilometres per hour - or in other words: five minutes of adrenalin drenched all killer no filler action.

The filming was done very well, and the fact that you guys were talking the whole time added a kind of "missing dynamic" compared to other longboard vids.

Longboards are pretty douchy and quite gay. But gotta admit some of those corners were heavy! Respect 👍
Do we have a top speed for them? One of the first times i bombed a hill on a longboard i went 50 mph and was holding on to speed wobbles. I couldnt imagine going that fast into a corner powersliding. Maybe on a skateboard @40 cause thats what i skate.
Some skateboarders are pretty douchy and quite often dumb elitists. Skateboard and Longboards have their own use cases. None of that use cases is gayer than others. FU
