They definitely should bring this game format back for switch and make it a worldwide trip of going against all regions gym leaders, elite fours, champions, etc.
My grandma bought a game boy because she needed something to do while she was recovering from surgery and either she got this game or it was one of my uncles games but that was always one of the best part was me going to her place to play this game! I miss those days
I remember this game. There was Puzzle League on the N64, and this was for the GBA....except in this one, it focused on the Johto region. Not to mention you actually face the Elite Four and champion in the harder levels, while also unlocking more pokemon to use along the way.
This was one of my childhood games, couldn't get enough of it when I played it. I still think Super Hard should include Kanto Gym Leaders (Lt. Surge with Raichu, Sabrina with Mr. Mime/Alakazam, Misty with Starmie, Erika with Jumpluff, Janine with Ariados, Brock with Onix, Blaine with Magmar, and Blue with Exeggutor) and Intense adds Red with Charizard (for it it'll say: "Pokemon Trainer Red. Red: .......... ...........)
I was thinking the same thing the other day, actually. Maybe also throw in Team Rocket (Male Rocket Grunt with Zubat, Female Rocket Grunt with Arbok, Female Rocket Executive with Vileplume, and Male Rocket Executive with Houndoom), and Silver with Sneasel.
This was my first game that wasn't edutainment for the PC. the first time I played, I nearly got all the playable pokemon. The only one I didn't get was Sentret

Pretty funny Pokémon attempted Tetris Attack (Panel De Pon), twice, not only from this, but also in N64.
And funny enough, both games were originally going to be games featuring the fairy characters!
There's a sequel to this as well only released in Japan.

Good idea but bad choice that gym leaders is a steel type you should have use a fire type Pokémon!
Typing has no bearing on this game, same as its N64 counterpart. The Pokemon you pick is purely a matter of taste/aesthetics.
