The amount of games this thing got in such a short lifespan is kind of incredible.
these games should be offered free play in entertainment systems aboard airplanes , long distance buses and trains . that way they won't fall into oblivion , and you generations will discover them

I’m from Canada, and when I was a kid I had a single issue of some British Nintendo magazine. I remember seeing ‘Antz World Sports’ on a full list of GBC games in existence and was so intrigued by it as it had the lowest score on the entire list - I think it was 6/100. I was never able to find a review or any additional info about the game. Finally, after all these years, i got to see the game in action!! Ty.

To this day.....my all time favorite Zelda game is on here Link's Awakening DX I still haven't played the remake yet but excited to eventually get to play it someday....I do have the "Link Between World's" game for the 3Ds and that was a great successor to A Link To The Past

I still haven't found one game. It's a top down shooter game. I got to control 3 characters, one is BA which is a blue guy with pistol, BS which is red guy with rifle, and a melee guy. I remember there was a mission on the moon and a mission where I got to rescue a hostage look like a candle.
I'm late, but if it helps, that likely means it's unlicensed for Nintendo.

The first Grandia RPG PSX game is so dear (and important) to me, that i feel i should check that GBC Grandia version out, even if japanese!
There's a fan-translation for it. You can play it in English still. Shame that one got left in Japan originally.

@@doscuramenos Not quite. Some guys from the US just translated it unofficially in a patch form, one that you apply to a ROM. This video even shows the fan-translated version, interestingly.
@@mariusamber3237 - oh, you mean that the original GBC Grandia version was not translated originally for English and kept overseas in Asia without coming West, or at least not in English...
and oh, so there's an English patch for it!... maybe i knew that, just didn't remember it, or not...

Either, I missed a segment here and there or there are a couple of games missing? I don't recall spying Metal gear ghost babel or megaman Xtreme anywhere? And I'm pretty certain you missed Conkers pocket tales, Perfect Dark and Mask of Zorro (at least I think it got made into a gameboy color game o.o) Again, I might have missed them or they simply weren't on the video?
It´s interesting that the GB/GBC as sucessfull device had only around 1900 Games combined.
it was pretty successful, but the limitations did scare quite a few devs off.

Star Ocean is pretty underrated, the one i played on the PS1 was really good, but i had zero idea that at the time, it was a franchise.

No,they aren't. Benjamin Bluemchen, Bibi Blocksberg and Pumuckl for Example are pure German Games based on characters from German franchises, too. And in his other videos he has games even with scandinavian language.

This is kinda a long shot but I’ll try:
I was around 4 to 5 years old when my aunt gave me a game boy color as a Christmas present. Obviously I was pretty young but I always vaguely remember this Pokémon game. And no, for some reason I can’t find it on the list of all the Pokémon games. I remember playing as pikachu in this world style like Mario Bros. It had different worlds and levels, it didn’t have the battles as the normal Pokémon games. I remember playing as Meowth as well. Maybe it was a unofficial kind of game ( I’m from Venezuela ) but I just wanted to know if any of you had ever hear about anything like this? Thank you for taking your time reading this

Could've been some Chinese hack. I recall reading about something like that, there were tons of Pokemon hacks around at that time, so that's a possibility.

on the gba theres a game called mystery dungeon red rescue team where you can play as pokemon but its not on the gbc
