- It's been a little while since I did a gear review. My TCX shoes are now quite well worn once I started wearing them to work every weekday. I was heading out on a 7 day motorcycle trip including a few days off the bike. I didn't want to pack too many shoes and boots so I spoiled myself with these shoes. I like the styling and found them very comfortable.

buying motorcycle shoes and driving in T-shirt... in this case you could just ride in flip flops mate :D
Except I don’t wear flip flops nor would I want to change gears in flip flops. But that’s just me. These riding shoes are also way more comfortable on and off bike than Vans or Converse personally. When I ride, I don’t like how some shoes feel like I’m barefoot on the pegs or shifting gears. But I also don’t want to wear boots all the time. These shoes fit the bill. Do you wear full armor riding to the grocery store? Or to work or to go see a movie? I don’t because it’s not convenient when I arrive. The amount of protection I wear is based on what I’ll be doing. But if you happen to ride to the grocery store in a one-piece race suit and boots, I wouldn’t judge you for that either. Thanks for your comment and ride safe 🏍️

@robertpeachey8348 No worries. I didn’t take it as a negative comment. (It’s near impossible to read tone so that’s why I personally try very hard to articulate my meaning in text).
I’m not really an ATGATT kind of guy. The gear I wear will depend on where I’m going. And while I always ensure that shoe laces are tied and laces are tucked (if they need to be), I never thought twice about the tattered jeans. This is a good point. Thank you.
