The price for this definitely comes from all the engineering that went into that LT6. It’s a race engine through and through, and is honestly the last of its kind in many ways; we’ll likely never see another bespoke N/A FPC engine in a car again. The Stingray is genuinely an amazing car for 90% of people out there, but the Z06 will absolutely leave it for dead in every application, performance-wise. It’s really a car that needs to be taken to a track to stretch its legs and run, you know? That’s where the differences between the Z06 and the Stingray would be their most apparent. You can only do so much with a 670 horsepower animal on the street lol. The Stingray is wonderful, but the Z06 is definitely a special car.

The Z06 is faster than a McLaren 720 S on most any racetrack in the world that has turns. A 458 is considerably slower than a STINGRAY Z51 package car on most any race course in the entire world. The C8 Z06 IS THE FIFTH FASTEST CAR THAT CAR AND DRIVER HAS EVER TESTED AT Virginia international raceway. These facts also come with BETTER ROAD CAR attached to every C8 series production vehicle. Ferraris new series 296 is more of the rival to the C8 series. There is something else going on with LUXURY GOOD SEEKERS vs actual performance car enthusiast. If you have noticed that the Z06 is absent from practically all European car magazine channels for a reason. Its cheaper and better than anything on the market in its category by a substantial margin.
It literally thrashed the Ford GT on track at VIR last year, just like it’ll embarrass your 5.0 on any and every circuit on the planet. That’s if you even have one, probably have an Ecoboost😂

170 k for a POS off brand Ferrari that still can't beat Ford. Naw I'll pass. My ten speed 5.0 has gapped two of those off brand Ferrari's.
