Yes the red light district is interesting, years ago it used to be even more blatant, these days I think it's as much of a tourist thing as anything. I agree with your views. Much better that than have the sex workers out on the streets, I've seen them working along main roads in Spain and it's even weirder, broad daylight dressed in their "work attire" shall we say. The Smell of weed is horrid and that too has got more intense over the years, I'm not a fan of it and when walking around it can take your breath away, it just stinks. Having said that it's not uncommon to smell it around my area in the city so I guess it's just a sign of the times. The main thing is, it's all part of the experience when traveling, always expect the unexpected I guess. Good for you and I hope this cruise will encourage you to try another one, it's a lovely way to travel. 👍

It is a beautiful city :) the canals and museums are fantastic to see!
It’s just the other areas I don’t like 🙈 the smell of Cannabis everywhere! 😭 it’s horrible. Xx
