MSC Virtuosa Winter Cruise

- It was winter and I saw an offer with MSC on a 4 night break around Northern Europe on the massive Virtuosa so thought I'd give it a go.
Watch me see what it's like to cruise around Northern Europe from Southampton in the winter season, November to be precise. I check out the MSC Virtuosa and see what she has to offer as well as give you a taste for two amazing cities, Hamburg and Rotterdam.
If you have ever wonder what it would be like to travel around Europe in the winter by sea then take a look. And if you have thought about taking a short break on a cruise then this video is for you too.

Haha, I wouldn't describe myself as an influencer in any way! But if you are keen on Hamburg now, then I guess technically I am 😄. Glad you liked the video too!

@@sumeetpalchoat774 Hi the weather was cold but we rapped up, the cruise was great fun and we enjoyed walking round the city’s.

Can I ask what date you went? We are hoping 24th Nov, and we're hoping it would be quite Christmassy. Also are those outdoor pools/slides heated?

Hi Claire, I went around the 12th November, it wasn't Christmassy onboard, still a little early I guess. I think if you go later in the month however Hamburg's Christmas markets should be on. They were setting up when I visited and they looked like they would be pretty good. I didn't go into the outdoor pool but did put my hand in to test the water and it felt heated, although still a little cool. The hot tubs and indoor pools were all nice and warm however.

Outside pools not heated you won't be able to use but indoor pool is lovely and warm 😊

I have a question. At 8:25 on the video you say "surprisingly for winter, the weather wasn't looking great". I want to confirm the weather is normally nice? Thank you
Hey! glad you like the video 😃. In the video I actually said 'unsurprisingly for winter the weather wasn't looking great'. This is as often in Northern Europe the weather can be wet and windy, and being from the UK this if often the case unfortunately.
However if you are looking at a cruise in the Mediterranean in February the weather would be much nicer and quite different from Northern Europe. It will likely be warmer and more settled, especially if you go to the south of Spain. Hope that helps 🙂

Was the ship and cabins heated?
Yes, the ship was nice and warm and you could control the temperature inside your cabin.
