- This was the frist customer's house that the new Ultra Vac was used on. It does a great job sucking up leaves, trash, pine cones, gumballs, pine straw, and grass clippings. This is the Ultra Vac QDS (Quick Discharge System), where I simply back up to a tarp or to the woods and pull the lever up to dump the 7 bushell packed load.
The grass in the video was wet and most of the debris had been rained on by several inches of rain and suction was still possible.
This is a 50'' deck with 23 HP
The Ultra Vac is a QDS model (Quick Discharge System) and does not have a bag, instead it is one solid unit that dumps by the pull of a lever instead of emptying bags. This model packs a full 7 bushels before dumping. The 50'' model would have 2 bags in the cheaper model (which is $400 less), where the 60 and 72'' models have 3 bags. The vac was $2726.36, special ordered for a 50'' deck. Hope this helps Mr. Bobcat.....

The grass clippings and leaves will start to blow out of the impeller instead of going up the tube when its full.
Most of the time I dump before I need to because I'm in close proximity of a dump site. I also dump it before changing areas (say going from front to back lawn).
I can cut about 5,000 sq. ft. before dumping, which depends on the thickness of the turf, number of weeds and amount of debris, and etc...)
It also only takes about 5 seconds to back up pull the lever and move foward, so I dump when I think its getting full....

2 tanks. I think its 13 gallon fuel capacity.
@bobcat101100 Toro makes exmark. Very little differences between the 2 machines...just a bit different components on the deck, I believe. Also check out Walker mowers...they give an awesome cut, if you are willing to drop the cash for one.
