How I wired my Missour Wind and Solar Charge Controller
500 watt turbine, 100 watt solar panel connected. Experienced people with this equipment, please let me know if this is wired correctly for peak performance. Please no negative comments, just please comment on things displayed in my set up instead of telling me I bought your competitor's products.
I noticed at 2:00 I wrongly stated wire size, I will be going from a 10 to an 8 gague wire here, and comments are welcome for wire sizing. Solar is about 25' away from this board and the turbine ac wire is just an old extension cord probably 12 gague and runs around 50'.

John Deere 318 with 47'' snow blower

1987 model John Deere 318 tractor with 47' snow blower. Just brought this home from Williston, ND. It moves 20'' of snow easily, last night's 3'' was nothing to run through quickly. I'm having an issue with the wiper currently is why it wasn't running; if we have some time without snow clean up on the farm I'll find the time to look into it.

I paid $18 for a pulley, $28 for the belt, and $5 for the angle bracket that the motor is mounted on for a total of $51. I'm using a half horse DC motor that use to be used to retract a hose reel. Hope you post a couple more videos of the manure trolley. They're neat to see in use. I used one a long time ago to clean out the barn at my grandparents farm. This was long after they got rid of their hogs. I was just cleaning up the "leftovers" & whatever bedding that was left behind. Worked great! Still hanging there. Might make a short video of it at some point.

    Those save you so much time and work. Dairymen used these to do the whole barn, milking stalls and box stalls. Some dumped it on to a wagon or manure spreader and even on the ground all winter long then in the spring either by hand or with a tractor with a loader load up the spreader to remove the large pile so it could fertilize the field before spring tillage and planting.

      Andy You have some problems with your install that can easily be fixed and increase your output. 3 people on here are Thermodyne dealers and will mislead you with there misinformation, most of which are lies. One of them is this guy , John Daniel aka Јохн Даниел a Thermodyne dealer. Jason Brown has our wind turbines up and into grid ties for about 5 years now with no problems. You should check out Jason Brown's installs.

    Great design! Just a few questions: 1. How did you get that mini map? 2. The way the minecart loading station worked - you couldn't put any powered rails on top of the hoppers to make the minecart's entire trip faster. If you had a station that worked differently and allowed you to have all the rails on top of the hoppers be powered rails - would that increase the smelting speed? (not counting the speed which the hoppers move the items since that is already maxed in this design)

    • @andyslawncare
      @andyslawncare Před 8 lety

      +Zapperzz99 The minimap is called Journey Map, you can search google to find how to install it. Using more powered rails wouldn't work with the return station, since the cart has to come in at exact speed to stop half way on the detector rail and powered rail; I don't believe more powered rails would increase efficiency. If you wanted to add more powered rails, you would want to 1. use hopper minecart; 2. add blocks to the edge of the redstone blocks, so the cart bounces back on its own (get rid of the current loading station) 3. centralize the downward facing hopper, but use 2 hoppers under a double chest to feed the cart running back and forth. Even with the aforementioned, I'm not sure that 2 hopper loading the hopper minecart at that speed would work to fill 25 furnaces. If you try and it doesn't you may need 2 sets of 2 downward facing hoppers and 2 separate inputs for maximum efficiency. The IP I play is MT.GG, you are welcome to come explore and discuss more if you are curious.

    • @Zapperzz99
      @Zapperzz99 Před 8 lety

      Thank you! The reason I asked is because the server I like playing on has the craftbook plugin installed. Craftbook pipes can move items anywhere within 4 chunks of you at 1 stack per tick (in the best case scenario). So I could use the craftbook pipes in place of the hoppers under the furnaces. That would remove the speed limit that is set by the hopper moving speed. Then the only thing limiting me is the speed that the minecart travels. If you have any additional advice for a very fast minecart distributing system that would be awesome :) Your solution using the hopper minecart & powered rails is likely what I will end up doing.

    The houses on this street have high pressure and high flow. I measured 85 psi on both homes, and 20 gallons per minute on the property that we installed irrigation on. Likely, the house across the street doesn't have a pressure regulator, and because of this their heads have to be tuned down, causing a mist effect that wastes lots of water.

  • @andyslawncare
    @andyslawncare Před 12 lety

    @bobcat101100 The grass clippings and leaves will start to blow out of the impeller instead of going up the tube when its full. Most of the time I dump before I need to because I'm in close proximity of a dump site. I also dump it before changing areas (say going from front to back lawn). I can cut about 5,000 sq. ft. before dumping, which depends on the thickness of the turf, number of weeds and amount of debris, and etc...)

  • @andyslawncare
    @andyslawncare Před 12 lety

    The Ultra Vac is a QDS model (Quick Discharge System) and does not have a bag, instead it is one solid unit that dumps by the pull of a lever instead of emptying bags. This model packs a full 7 bushels before dumping. The 50'' model would have 2 bags in the cheaper model (which is $400 less), where the 60 and 72'' models have 3 bags. The vac was $2726.36, special ordered for a 50'' deck. Hope this helps Mr. Bobcat.....
