  • My name is Andy Mendenhall, and I am co-owner of Down to Earth Lawn Care and Landscaping (also known as DTE); we have offices in Peachtree City and Palmetto Georgia and service Fayette and Coweta counties and beyond if the job is right. I studied horticulture in college, and my specialization is in landscape management. Our business is structured on strong roots of education and the urge to learn when necessary. Our employees are also educated on our time to know what they are doing; as you can see in the video, Joseph doesn't need my help on this tree and could see the problems before the truck was even parked. Joseph will operate our new maintenance truck later this year.
This job was the first time on a new full service account, which will receive weed control, pruning, and lawn maintenance on an ongoing basis from now on. This house had been foreclosed on, and sat vacant for at least 1 year before our new clients bought the house. All beds and trees have been neglected for a long time, if not since they day the landscaping was installed. This is a very common scenario, and we have the skills and tools to tackle almost any thing in the landscape--though knowledge is probably one of our best tools.

February is for pruning, and I'll be uploading more videos as the seasons progress; I will detail different species, techniques, and problems as the jobs are completed. We'll also go over some irrigation diagnosis, repair, and install and several other topics later this year...stay tuned, and call us for help if you are in our service area.

I have since left the business and started working for BNSF in North Dakota. If you view and have questions I am available to those, if you call for that please state that in your voice mail or message here so I don't think you are a landscaping lead.
