- “Cube 21 and Back to Square One,” or “Square-1” for short, is a complicated shape-shifting puzzle that is unique to any other WCA Puzzle. It features a new set of terms and ideas that are completely different from the 3x3, and is quite challenging to master. With a World record average of about five seconds, the Square - 1 is a daunting task for all cubers. However! I have compiled what I believe to be the easiest method to solve it, and is not too difficult to memorize. You don’t need any prior knowledge, but just know that this will be harder than your average Rubik’s cube! Share or subscribe for more tutorials!

WARNING at 6:18 the text says -3, 0 -3, 0 but the actual alg is 0, -3 0, -3
My b
@DerLotto thx for the info
This is the hardest cube I have ever laid my hands on and I have solved A LOT and have 29 seconds on a 3x3x3
This was mega helpful.
why should I learn an algorithm to fix the headlights on the bottom layer if I can yimply flip the cube and do the algorithm I already learned to fix the headlights on the top layer? Flipping the cube shouldn't take you longer than a few milliseconds so it doesn't matter unless you wanna go for world record.
Thank you for the demo but for your audience, At least you could pinned a correction for those (-3).
This is really helpful but if you want the beginning of the cubeshape without Algs tingmans tutorial is also really helpful
Edit: I was able to solve the cube with this video you earned a sub
Thank yo so much I think you stuffed up some of the algs but I still did it thanks.
that might be true in this video, but glad i could help
Excellent Tutorial Thanks😊
This video was great! You earned a sub and a like, but one time I got to a case where two edges were swapped. Is there an alg for that or is it an impossible case that I have to pop the cube to fix?
Yes that is in the end of the video I beleive
Go to 9:31
What if you have the last two edges parity how do I solve
Thank u so much i literally just solve it for the first time because of this video u just got a like and a sub
Very nice video helped me learn the square 1
what if i have the au perm but upside down
what happens if the pair d is on the white side?
I did it by switching the orientation of the middle layer ( 9:00 ), then doing the alg just like in the vid and then take the middle layer back
what if you have like a L parity with everything solved but an adjacent parity ? Isn't that like a different algo or can you change it into one of the other cases?
Adjacent parity?
Nice!
Given how useful your Axis cube video was, I'm guessing this will be helpful as well. Square one is on its way.
People have said this was good. Also, it's one of the few ones out there that has an easy method to get sub minute times as opposed to other beginners methods that are like 5mins
Agreed
Thanks
I thought I would never be able to solve a square 1 but your tutorial helped me solve it for the first time
This always messes up my cube (I’m not mad at u all ur tutorials are great just this one is difficult)
It is slightly more difficult than other square one beginners yes, but still a very fast one. And I have other sub-videos that help drop even more time with little improvements
Title should be:"hardest blah blah blah,no one can do .I want 0subs."
Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh
Was the tutorial not descriptive enough?
@@Learn_The_Cube To be fair there were a few mistakes here and there but still very helpful
Very good but I can't hear you
Sorry about that. I hope the visuals and on-screen algs were enough. Also frfr did this help you solve the square-one? Just wondering if this explanation was effective.
Yea it did a lot but I would help to put the algs in the description
Ooh what if I made a website. I could post algs for each of my vids, and link the site. What do you think?
I actually no longer want to make one, there are too many
Me neither
Hey what happens if the u perm is on the white side
Just opposite. You can still solve it by just two L-L algorithms if you orient them correctly.
NEVER AGAIN. NEVER AGAIN. NEVER AGAIN.
FAKER L this doesn't work
prove it then
Thank you 🙏
