  • “Cube 21 and Back to Square One,” or “Square-1” for short, is a complicated shape-shifting puzzle that is unique to any other WCA Puzzle. It features a new set of terms and ideas that are completely different from the 3x3, and is quite challenging to master. With a World record average of about five seconds, the Square - 1 is a daunting task for all cubers. However! I have compiled what I believe to be the easiest method to solve it, and is not too difficult to memorize. You don’t need any prior knowledge, but just know that this will be harder than your average Rubik’s cube! Share or subscribe for more tutorials!

    WARNING at 6:18 the text says -3, 0 -3, 0 but the actual alg is 0, -3 0, -3

    This is the hardest cube I have ever laid my hands on and I have solved A LOT and have 29 seconds on a 3x3x3

    why should I learn an algorithm to fix the headlights on the bottom layer if I can yimply flip the cube and do the algorithm I already learned to fix the headlights on the top layer? Flipping the cube shouldn't take you longer than a few milliseconds so it doesn't matter unless you wanna go for world record.

    Thank you for the demo but for your audience, At least you could pinned a correction for those (-3).

    This is really helpful but if you want the beginning of the cubeshape without Algs tingmans tutorial is also really helpful
    Edit: I was able to solve the cube with this video you earned a sub

    This video was great! You earned a sub and a like, but one time I got to a case where two edges were swapped. Is there an alg for that or is it an impossible case that I have to pop the cube to fix?

      I did it by switching the orientation of the middle layer ( 9:00 ), then doing the alg just like in the vid and then take the middle layer back

    what if you have like a L parity with everything solved but an adjacent parity ? Isn't that like a different algo or can you change it into one of the other cases?

      People have said this was good. Also, it's one of the few ones out there that has an easy method to get sub minute times as opposed to other beginners methods that are like 5mins

    • @Learn_The_Cube
      @Learn_The_Cube  Před 3 lety +2

      It is slightly more difficult than other square one beginners yes, but still a very fast one. And I have other sub-videos that help drop even more time with little improvements
