I live in the south of Chile for almost 5 years. While I was there I never experienced any racism towards me. I live in a city where I was the only black man, let's just say I enjoyed every minute of it.

She's from Venezuela. Auston bro, to ask someone are you from here, you say: "Eres de aquí?" She responded to you in Spanish and said "Yo Soy venezolana. No sé lo que me quieres preguntar." Translated into English, she said I'm Venezuelan. I don't understand what you want to ask me." I'm a Spanish teacher and I feel that my skill set is necessary in these CZcams streets. Keep traveling and inspiring the other Passport Bros! Salute.

I will tag Auston in it and share the link to this very comment thread. Thanks for sharing a comment on this topic. When traveling, being able to communicate effectively is extremely important. If you see fit, feel free to take a look. I'll continue to post Spanish Language Learning video for a while. I feel that it's necessary for Passport Bros to gain a better understanding and command of Spanish. C.A.C.

They may understand it more in the countries near Brazil like Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay but its gonna be Spanish-heavy in the majority of South America, brothas.

Chile is one of the most financially progressive countries in South America. In the 1980’s I believe, they revolutionize their economy and retirement system. At one time in recent decade, they had one of the world best retirement systems where their retirement funds was invested in the stock market which allowed for a 55 year old retirement verses a 65 plus retirement in the US. I would not be surprised if Chile would be one of the more expensive countries in South America. Today Norway is investing their retirement funds in the stock market and they are really kicking it. They tried to pass a bill to invest part of social security in the US in the stock market but the bill didn’t pass. Also, some of the German Nazis who didn’t stay in Argentina went to Chile as well.

The big mountains are the Andes and on the opposite you have the coastal mountains. Santiago is like Los Angeles were it is surrounded by mountains therefore the pollution can be very bad in the winter.

    • @greenbeans8710

The taxi drivers in Brasil will say, “I will give you the same price as Uber to the airport or wherever.” That is what a taxi driver said to me. Their is no record of that agreement but with Uber, the agreement is codified in the app. price so the driver cannot just up and change the price on you to whatever they want.
