No need to get the SIM card with the new International Phone Plan with Verizon. I use my cellphone outside the country using the same plan I have in the U.S. and I still pay the same monthly charge. It is legit, but the data point with the plan is a bit low, but if you are always on some sort of Wi-Fi, you really don’t notice a difference.

Chile is one of the most financially progressive countries in South America. In the 1980’s I believe, they revolutionize their economy and retirement system. At one time in recent decade, they had one of the world best retirement systems where their retirement funds was invested in the stock market which allowed for a 55 year old retirement verses a 65 plus retirement in the US. I would not be surprised if Chile would be one of the more expensive countries in South America. Today Norway is investing their retirement funds in the stock market and they are really kicking it. They tried to pass a bill to invest part of social security in the US in the stock market but the bill didn’t pass. Also, some of the German Nazis who didn’t stay in Argentina went to Chile as well.

The taxi drivers in Brasil will say, “I will give you the same price as Uber to the airport or wherever.” That is what a taxi driver said to me. Their is no record of that agreement but with Uber, the agreement is codified in the app. price so the driver cannot just up and change the price on you to whatever they want.
If you gonna travel always have cash on you just enough and keep it hidden never trust no one to swipe cards especially bank cards I always use a credit card In Mexico they can’t break those and I only swipe in nice tourist places never with some guy off the streets I’ve been robbed through my bank debit card and I don’t use it to swipe only in certain places I always use cash or credit never my personal bank card only at one place I use it

NEVER buy anything from anyone unless is a official store. When I travel I go to a mall and buy the SIM card at an official outlet store.
