As a PC user who refuses to buy Apple hardware I have very little choice but to use Microsoft's operating systems. This alone is the reason I will not buy an Xbox. They are very good at making any interface annoy me.
Plus you can access Xbox games via the Microsoft store on PC, and run them. The Xbox console is not required.
I think if u r tech savvy then u can actually emulate Mac os in ur computer,u can use Linux.
Anyways learn to make a video game and make good money.

I do believe the cell architecture is actually “better” on a power efficiency standpoint if the software is actually optimized to run on it. Very few developers actually went through with the trouble of properly optimizing though because it’s so different from x86.

It was PowerPC with a rocket strapped to it, but Sony didn't understand developers of that platform and assumed they were going to continue the splintered programming that the PS2 had with it's divided MIPS architecture. The 360 was more successful in this area due to their API handling most of this extra FX fluff for you, opposite of the PS3 that needed it to be done manually - hence why it took years for games to 'get good' on the platform. This FX crap that was anchoring the console's success is a staple of Nvidia's awful FX architecture that lost them millions in the 5000 series GPUs, obviously this is why both Microsoft and Sony have steered clear of them since.

I have 15 consoles including handhelds and I have to say there is more to it than brand loyalty when choosing a console, when people ask which they should get or which is better I show them some of the exclusives, I show them the UI and associated features (apps etc.) and try to have them hold the controller to see which is the best fit for them overall

People change. And so do their interests. Some topics get boring and repetitive and others seem appealing and interesting. Channels change with them.
Cody gave the channel to Tyler and now it's completely a different channel but with the same name. I for one am not liking the new version. I keep watching and hoping Tyler will find something that works, but I'm losing patience with it.

Alternate History Hub should do a What if the Nintendo Playstation followed through?
Imagine a console that had both Ocharina of Time and Final Fantasy 7. Or a Playstation 2 that had Super Smash Bros. Melee. PS2 already had a legendary roster of Battlefront 2, Tony Hawk Pro Skater and Sly Cooper. Throw in Pokemon Colosseum, Metroid Prime and Wind Waker? Hooboy.
About the PS2, i assume you are talking about a more powerful PS2 of what actually released, if that's the case, gamecube quality games with the space of a normal DVD, that would have been awesome
@@Overload151 This is my dream alternate 2000s so yes. Best of both worlds. Also in my alternate timeline, Mario Party 5 and 6 are one perfect game with 5's music, sound and story mode and 6's minigames and item system. Also there's a third Colosseum game where you get a Leafeon and a Glaceon. We'd also get Battlefront 3 and in addition to OT and Clone Wars eras, it would have content for the Old Republic and Legacy eras.

Short answer: Xbox = Murican
It's really simple. Playstation has the best first party exclusive games. Nothing else really matters that much. If you want to play God of War or Horizon or Spiderman or Last of Us or Uncharted or Bloodborne etc, you buy a Playstation. Ultimately I think they will become a more software focused company, but for now they win the hardware market as well.
the WiiU sold more exclusive games than PS4 despite the differences in console sales, Playstation and xbox are for 3rd party games, call of dutys and similars

I am not a Sonyboy, I don't have a PS, I always preferred PC, but you HAVE to admit, that PS4 had Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted, God of War, The Last of Us, Spider-man, they have Death Stranding a year earlier etc. THIS is why people bought it, not because of the name. I never considered buying an Xbox one, but I definitely was thinking about PS4
