I once had an experience with a wild eagle. Somehow, in the span of a few minutes, I managed to gain its trust and then I gently began petting it. It let me do everything, completely calm, and this was one of the bigger eagles. If it wanted to, it could have snapped off my fingers at any time, or attacked me, but it didn't. I just let me pet it, and all up close let me see how beautiful and majestic it was. I know it pales in comparison to these videos, however it was still an incredible experience.

They are really common in Ohio. Specifically Kent, Ohio. This is because at Kent State (my dad told me this story, I might get some details mixed up sorry) there was an experiment where they tried to breed black squirrels. Somehow, the squirrels escaped and ended up breeding with each other and the squirrels already on campus, creating more black squirrels. This is why the Kent State mascot is a black squirrel 😊

Sooo adorable 🥰. My mom was ill before she passed, so for years she couldn’t take the stairs. Everyday there would be 2-3 squirrels that would jump from the tree to the roof for all 3 meals of hers throughout the day. They would have their acorns or whatever they chose to eat and sit there along the window sill. It warms my heart to think about how sweet my mother was and how she just had that affect on everyone.....we just had to be in her company. I miss you so much mom(my angel) 🙏🏼💕🌸

My aunts neighbor found a baby fawn stuck in a small stream after a big storm last night. He got it unstuck, and my aunt helped the nurse it back to health. They bottle fed it, and got advice from a vet. There are lots if cyotes where they live, so they didn't want to leave Link Link out by himself. They built him a small place to love in thier garage. Link Link is now happy and healthy with another doe who has started to take him in. Link Link still comes to visit, and is doing very well by himself. Thanks to these great people, this little fawn grew up strong!❤❤❤❤❤❤

How could they find it last night? Because that's what your comment says but it also says that the fawn started to become 'adopted' by another deer and then that it still comes to visit. My dad found 3 baby raccoons in the walls of his work. Their eyes weren’t even open. The other employees wanted to shoot them, so my dad took them home. Not knowing what to expect we went to petco to get them kitten formula. We took our dogs kennel and put them in there. We had chickens at the time with a big coop. We ended up giving them away and putting the raccoons in there. We named them Oakley, Buddy, and Bandit. We have had them for about 3 months now and they had their last bottle about a week ago. They are sweeter than ever now. Wish us luck. 🙏

One day this wolf came up to me and sat down next to me I was wondering why. I found out he had no home cause his parents most likely died so I took care of him I gave him some of my leftovers outside and played with him. Then he was big enough to go out on his own I was happy that he found a pack he still comes to this day to see me.

Wow! I see the news, here and abroad, and I always see evidence of man's inhumanity to creatures on this planet. Things such as the Lion's situation in Africa; but then, I see things or blessings, like this guy and it always make me proud to a human because this man's work is absolutely priceless on this planet. Also, watch the animals that he mixes with; they know it as well. I know that he gets help from others, I thank them as well but I had to truly stop and say, THANK GOD for beings such as this man. His work is incredibly awesome and never forgotten.

This reminds me of my great uncle, he'd always go on walks to find abandon runts and take them in to care for them until they were strong enough and old enough to be released again.
He once took in a swan egg, and it became very attached to him and would follow him eveywhere, even to the pub. He did put him into the wild obviously but it wasn't rare to see the swan at his door waiting to pay him a visit

Squirrels are some of the best pets ever. I think weve had 7 or 8 total. I loved each one of them so much. They get a personality as they age and each one is unique. It is a lot of work to raise one especially from the bottle but its worth the love they share back and the fun to be had.

All animal rescue channels are awesome! I would donate at least a few cents to every rescue group. I may not have much to give but a cent can do a lot of good. If we’re naming animal channels, I love VetRanch as well as Animal Aid Unlimited and Hope For Paws.

Its because squirrels are considered "pests" same way that they wouldn't help a seagull or a pigeon special organizations need to step in. It needs to change
then become a vet and fix every animal if you think it's so easy and they give up because they want too.
It's nothing to do with the vets its the counties that they are in, using seagull as an example again its considered a pest not because that's what the vet says but what the country says, therefore, it would be illegal for them to take action. This is why there are special organizations which have to step in generally assorted with do-gooders and vets alike. Just telling someone to become a vet isn't good enough its the system itself that needs to change not just someones career. Think bigger.
I cant comprehend why im getting so emotional but its so righteous and great for these people to do such things.

I found 2 baby kittens during hurricane Irma and nursed them back to good health. It was hard work but in the end so well worth it. The kittens made it and were later adopted by a great family.
