During the winter my rear windshield wiper got damaged due operating the rear wiper before snow and ice removed. The aluminum groove in the wiper arm is now damaged which causing wiper stop functioning. I am going to show you how to fix this problem.
very helpful now let me give it a try. Fixed it took 1-2mins only thanks heap!!! I'm 8 years old.
Thank you so much for this! I let a local kid shovel my walk and clear off my car, and didn't notice right away that he'd pushed my wiper so hard that 6 inches of the tip of the blade was protruding off the side of the car. Following your instructions, took me less than a minute to fix it (lucky for me, there was no debris in there!)
The information here was much appreciated! Got the wiper working properly again after a 4' snow heap messed up the alignment on the wiper.
GREAT FIX! To think that stuff is made in such a way that basically ensures your business in the near future by their proprietary rights. Toyota would likely have charged the owner a good 200$ for that work alone! THANKS A LOT FOR SHARING!
Tim, This is just what I needed. Thanks.
Thanks! Will give this a try today.
Thanks Tim, this is very helpful.
I will try first, thank you!
thanks Tim Z!
Great work dude!
very helpful. Thank you.
Thanks man!
If it’s stripped out it looks to me to be a perfect place for JB WELD Clean and roughen ( the rougher the better) the inside then press in a ring of JB. Not a big wad but enough to fill the stripped splines. The shaft splines after tightening down will press form it just like new. If it strips again the JB will chip, scrape out with little more effort than the original plastic and you can just fix it again. The prices they charge for this stuff are absolutely extortion!
Thank you man. 👍
Cheers tim:-)
Small amount....
More like large amount.. lol
