So its a power bank adapter more than a discharger? It doesn't have any self contained discharge capabilities?
I wished I knew this before I ordered mine.
Good review and video
Glad you enjoyed it
Great stuff! Can this be used for Li-ion packs as well?
There's no reason why not.
Do you have a link to a description of the power bank you use in this video?
Yep czcams.com/video/u-IWC6dibDg/video.htmlsi=kfJF_6wdt_MCIOLr
Does it automatically stop discharging at 3.8V, or is it just an alarm?
It stops.
How low can you discharge the lipo battery? For example if I want to keep charging my phone past the point where the lipo hits 3.8.
Easy. Set the discharge target to a lower voltage. But don't go lower than about 3.7v for a lipo, or you'll kill it.
@@WhirlyBloke Thanks for the reply. Don't most lipos have a minimum discharge rating of 3.3v per cell? Does this unit have any self contained discharge capabilities?
