u do very good diagrams...thanx
please explain field effect transistor
i found your channel by accident about a year ago and i’m so addicted. it reminds me of how i fell in love with electronics and electricity. keep up the hard work 💪🏽💪🏽
Perhaps the most important invention in modern history
Without a doubt. Also, everyone watching this educational video is only able to do so because of them!
Less than a century ago, but the most consequential decades in human history...
Im very thankful for your teachings, and how you simplify things. Ill be joining your channel officially tomorrow. Youre worth every penny! Thank you.
Brilliant! So glad I discovered this channel.
Simply the best, thanks 👍🏻
The most underrated intvention. should be up there with the automobile, gunpower, lights, etc
Bipolar transistors are current control devices. FETs are voltage controlled. Your explanation is reasonable for beginners, but as soon as people try to use a bipolar device, they must know that it is a current control device.
Long awaited video finally live 🤩
Very interesting info.👍
Thank you 🙏🏼
Many thanks
Great explanation. Actual circuits are a great way to learn and reproduce at home.
Good stuff ☝ 👏 👍
Easily explained. Thank you.
Can you make a video about operational amplifier?
Good content I like it💖
This is a great explanation for transistors. Thank you
Please explain amplifier ckt of transistor. The way you explain switching.
Is "current gain" the same term as "gain" when talking about audio equipment?
Please explain about boost and buck converter
Please make a series on basic electronics.
We have lots of videos on electronic components already, please see the channel videos and website
So depending on the amount of signal the base gets, the transistor amplify?
You have at least 4 videos about transistor basics. Do you need any more?
Well there's been 14k views in 8 hours on this video. People search for "what is a transistor" and I help them find an answer.
@@EngineeringMindset please do the same with the transformer videos, and all other videos actually.... Because title "transistors explained" is not really easy to find when you are searching, like you said, people tend to search by typing "What is......."
And please do the same with the multi language channels, if possible translate the other videos, you guys a are amazing teachers, the animations in your videos helps on idealizing current flow better than just imagining.
@@EngineeringMindset just change the title of older videos.
Make videos on fet , MOSFET and power electronic devices

Please make a video about potentiometers

Hello sir ,i have one doubt ,When I tested with a phase and neutral wave multimeter I got 229 voltage,Then when I tested another phase i got 232 voltage,,Then I got a 401 when I checked between the two phases,,Now my question is why when I test separately I get one voltage and the same when I test them together why do I get less? Please answer me
Because you touch your self at night

Cant we just control the current from the larger source using a simple switch
I mean we have to apply current in order to regulate another supply, so whats the main advantage of transistor
You don't need to manually press a switch, transistor allows automation. Use another circuit or sensor to control it
Yaa I agree on that point
But my question was, if we want to regulate the supply, then isn't there a way out in the main supply source itself, so that we dont need a transistor to do that task
✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅
How to do mic and speaker
Sir,
But fundamental question is again as such that to control the Base current supply, again we need human intervention 🤔🤔🤔 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
No, we do not. We can let another circuit or sensor apply the base current.
@@EngineeringMindset Thanks
how get the data all

I've seen this before. Is this a repost?
Yes.
This is a re-uploaded video, right?🤔
Seems to be all this channel is anymore is re-uploads from previous videos over a year ago. I haven't seen anything new in a long time.
I literally have so many emails and comments asking for example "can you make a video explaining what a transistor is?" so instead of me replying each time to say hey have you watched our "Transistors explained video, it's all covered in that" I've instead just cut that section out of the video and launched it as a seperate video. Firstly it helps people find what they need, secondly it helps generate a little extra money so I can fund more projects and thirdly it frees me up to work on more projects. I have like 6 videos all part way in production but they take a long time to make.
I haven't announced this yet but, I'm also building a new workshop so I can start to make some bigger projects and multiple projects at the same time! 🎉 Currently I only have 1 small work bench which really makes it difficult to switch between projects. Soon I'll have dedicated work benches for mechanical, electrical, electronics, 3D printing etc etc. I appologies the content hasn't been fresh recently but don't worry I'll be getting lots of new content out to your guys very soon. I'll also be launching some competitions too where viewers can win prizes 😎
@@EngineeringMindset quick question - in the case of electronics, how exactly does a NOT-gate work? i must just be thinking about it wrong but how do you go from a zero... to a one? like, what pin would be the input, what pin would be the inverted output?
if you have time ofc, loved the vid!

WHY ARE WE YELLING
The Engineering Mindset uploading a video on transistor for the 1749860th time 🤡
It's a popular topic
So what's the point in transistors? To have an excuse to use a small battery left over?💀
Without transistor your phone, car, laptops and any other device that needs to perform even the simplest calculation won't work. In your phones CPU there's ove 2 billion transistor that are micro. Transistors are the best inventions of the modern age
