  • The guys invite their friend, Rich Hartman on the show, a retired police officer with 25 years on the job to discuss the topic of being a cop in real life, compared to cops in the Hollywood movies. They discuss why Hollywood does such a poor job of portraying the job of police officers and the modern day "bro" cop who thinks they are a movie actor and make poor decisions which could impact their life and career. The true do's and don'ts of being a cop.

Thank you for what you guys are doing 😊
Was a small town Reserve cop in the mid 1980s. I just wanted to volunteer back in my home town 😊 NO pay for us, plus we MUST do 20 hours of ride along. All the body/Belt equipment was on our own Dime. I know you said ( Auditor) make you mad, but the problem with that is your anger is being uploaded to the world 🌎
How can cops PR or bridge the gap between the First Amendment Auditor and the patrol person on duty. Just asking for maybe a topic of discussion.

It's alarming that this video has such a low number of views and comments, considering the dire need to bridge the gap between law enforcement and citizens. There is a desperate need to strengthen the relationship between the two. Not to mention, all the videos that show these relationships in a negative light have millions of views and thousands of comments so, why not this video which is intended to make positive change?? Death, pain and drama are more interesting and sought after than positivity and harmony amongst the American people??? As a nation we should be ashamed of ourselves. This tells me there are far too few people in search of a resolution!!!! Heart-breaking!!! 😔💔

I love how Billy's so outraged by Kyle's truck XD Hilarious. I was expecting him to say " No way he'll get to the 800k mark, we'll have an intervention before that happens!" (15:58)

I know you guys have touched on the mental aspects of being a law enforcement officer and have had experts on the podcast that give a good perspective on that.
Can you guys touch on how your respective agencies deal with responding to mental calls (i.e suicidal ideations/attempts). I know my agency has enacted a policy where we aren't responding to these calls if they meet certain criteria.
    Thanks again guys
P.s you guys should drink some real beer 🤟🏽

I would love to watch the episode about the audits if somebody could link it :-) I would also love to hear other people's opinions about audits, particularly officers

Somebody in my family loves to watch those audit videos, and I understand why they're doing it.. but honestly those videos kind of irritate me because the person with the camera is usually being a total jerk. What do you guys honestly think?

The best TV cops were the SWAT team in the "Mayor of Kingstown" . Just ruthless and cold. But the "good guys" in black.
Team leader's like " we're gonna get you out, but we're takin it to em first.... if you dont hit em in the mouth for this, you're gonna regret it for the rest of your ife.......let's go, get up"
    Just a badass character.

I have a request for two cop movies. "Q & A" from 1990 starring Nick Nolte and "Sea of Love" (1989) starring Al Pacino?

There's an episode of a show that gained a lot of attention where I'm from ( 🇨🇦) because of how realistic it was. The clip online has 4.3 million views and the comment section is loaded with people giving their two cents about what they would've done differently. As LEOs, I'm curious about your perspective.

I don't have any aspirations to work in law enforcement but I appreciate the point of view that you guys provide every week. It's really informative :)
    Keep up the cool content!

It is a lie. Just because they do not know does not mean they you are not lying
