    I used to love this channel, tons of old poker videos that were difficult to find. Very unique ones most poker channels didn’t have. Thanks to these videos and the old PokerXpress channel I fell in love with poker. Pokergo and these copyrights claims are killing the welcoming of new players.

      Pokergo is way too business oriented. Their titles and CZcams videos are very mis titled and cut to only be sensational. They will never get customer loyalty when behaving so transactional

    The paired board is enough for Tom not to shove that raise against Antonius. It's a smart call imo.

      He’s only getting called by a boat, don’t know why this commentator thinks he would move in 😂

    Commentators are so bad at analyzing the hands back then lol. With Dwans hand with Antonius how can Dawn ever back raise all in when antonius was the preflop raiser . He can have all the 10s , jacks and kings in his range. To
    Be honest if dwan decided to fold there it would be a decent fold if we are not being results oriented. Dwan is blocking straights with a queen . Makes it less likely Antonius has a queen also.

      Unless you're suggesting Antonius could have a hand like K3 suited so he makes the full house, i dont quite see what youre getting at. But given antonius was the preflop raiser like you said i wouldnt expect a hand like that from him.

      @@corycastle99 but as pre flop raiser, he could have jacks, kings or tens, which is what this comment said. Tom didn't have near nuts

    Chris ferguson has to be the tightest player I've ever seen. Literally never plays a hand in any video you see him in

      But if I was rich I’d love to be there. Maybe lose a few hundred k but you can forever say you played Ivey and Hanson and Dwan and Helmuth on a TV game!!

      Paired board. Full houses are possible.

    why did dwan only call in the last hand? to show he got it an strengthen his reputation?

    • @lolipedofin
      @lolipedofin Před 2 lety +1

      Because it is a paired board. He loses to quads and full houses.
      Patrick has to reraise there because his hands is too disguised and underrepresented and he can still get value from top pair or two pairs.
      Dwan knows that and understand his hand beats a lot of the range Patrick is having, but if he come over the top again, he would be overrepping his hand and he will only either get a fold from weaker hands, or a call from stronger hands. And yes, if Dwan reraise there Patrick will most likely fold, but it depends on how much they have behind.
      After a river 2-bet on a paired board, just calling is the best play for a nut straight.
