- A HIBS fan was devastated after having to take his Hearts-daft son to the Scottish Cup final - because he couldn't break a promise.
Jason Hood said he was "almost in tears" when his eight-year-old son Lewis told him he was a Jambos supporter last year - despite his dad being a life-long Hibee.
The 33-year-old refused to take the youngster to any Hearts games but did make him a promise that he would take him to the Scottish Cup final if they qualified.
But the council worker never believed that Hearts would make it far enough through to the final.

I told my dad I wanted to be a hibs fan when I was about 10 and he said fine. A while later he asked me why I hadn't left yet, I said what and his reply was support hibs if you want but your not living under my roof. He saved me from the dark side with that one comment ❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂

My dad was a Jambo and my brother and I ended staunch hibees. No danger he would’ve done that mate. I ended up a ball boy for the Hibs through being at the right place at the right time but still rather than be happy for me, in typical Jambo fashion , still spewing. Your a great dad, there’s still time to change him, have you tried hypnosis!
