There’s literally no debate on who’s the biggest club in Edinburgh. Hearts have won trophies, won more derbies, won more important derbies and get a higher average attendance. I’m not a hearts fan in the slightest but Hibs will simply always be in their shadow.

As a Celtic Fan & a fan of all the departments within football im bemused that Shaun Maloney has been sacked just 4 months into being given the job of trying to build , for the future , a Hibs side that'll be up battling in the Top 6 & eventually get more & more positive results with thd team on the park but it looks like those in charge at Hibs are already disrespecting him as another excuse for sacking by saying he didnt have a good manner with staff around the training ground also cited as yet another cause for concern...
It beggars belief to think why they gave him the job in the first place only to sack him 4 months after theu sacked Jack Ross...
Its one thing for 1 Manager not delivering any good results on the field but two sack 2 in less than a full season tells me that Shaun's grievance at not getting enough backing from the Hibs Board make the latter stand out even more...
Before the announcement to sack Shaun Maloney those who played or worked with him have said he's one of the nicest guys youll meet & no footballer or manager has a bad word to say about him yet hes out the door within 4 months at Hibs & was backed by the board , with latter being the truth if you believe Shaun Maloney's side as he stated this long before he was sacked...
Youve got to givf any new manager at least 1 full season , get in fresh blood in the way of players & give him , just as you would any manager , the time to build something with the team of players at Hibernian Football Club...
Im mentioning & coming on here as i too as a Celtic Fan knew our new manager would need time to get settled & work with what hes got & off load whats not working in favour of player Ange knew would do the job...
If you take the knee jerk reaction out of the emotions of the fans & with those in charge realistically you should give any new manager 3 seasons to accomplish something...
As the first season is all about trying to get the old or those not doing the job on the park out the door & trying to get at least a few players in & then work with that until the Winter Transfer Window but as weve seen with certain teams in the SPL that they need the players but struggle to get them as its not as if the other 10 Clubs in the SPL get the same money to spend on new signings as Celtic & Rangers & this has been a huge problem for the remaining 10 Teams...
Should the manager get that first season to try & at least steady the boat then in the summer transfer window should see even more players coming in to each club who can do them a turn & during that 2nd seadon theu should be steadily becoming stronger & stronger & its at the end of the 2nd season a manager should be then brought to task if hes not delivered as after the 2nd Season with even more new players to strengthen the club , the 3rd season should see each time fighting to be right behind the 1rst & 2nd placed teams as the manager , though limited with resources , should have a team wuth the 3rd season seriously nipping on the heels of those 4 teams within the top 6 but we all know that realistically no manager is going to be given 2 Seasons to prepare for the 3rd season that should see them now competing & pushing on the door of the Rangers & Celtic & no doubt not taking over the Top 2 spots but at least giving the Top 2 a run for their money all the while battling to stay up in the Top 6 & i dont mean to be disrespectful to any of the other clubs but Hibs/Hearts/Aberdeen & Dundee UTD should always be in the Top 6...
The simple fact , & as a Celtic Fan , i know when your so close to being done that your team nearly ends up going bust like The Rangers & the Celtic Fans stayed loyal.& kept financially backing the Celtic Club even though we were in such disarray & needing also needing the remaining section of the park to be built which would go on be called the Jock Stein Stand & even now we are still trying to make our stadium a better & safer stadium to go to & watch my team Celtic Football Club...
Im not even going to try & say that Celtic Football Club have the same issues & problems with the rest of the 10 Clubs that make up the rest of the SPL but i can tell you its not all sunshine & rainbows as some would think...
I wonder who would go for that job at Hibs now , & i already know the names in the pot , but seriously who is going to take the mangers job at Hibs if they wont even support the manager's theyve had in this season!..

Honesty the only difference between Aberdeen and Celtic fans (besides red obviously) is that Aberdeen fans don’t have the bragging rights that Celtic fans do. They hate rangers the same as or maybe even more than Celtic fans do, they use all the Celtic fans patter and genuinely just lie down to them at every opportunity. At least Hearts and Hibernian take points off the Old Firm. Hearts single handedly killed our season back in 19/20 and nearly got Gerrard the sack. Aberdeen would sooner go bust than threaten Celtic’s season. Even last year when they were crap, they just couldn’t bring it upon themselves to beat them.
