Using LG smartphones for past 5 years and i must say probably the most underrated smartphone out there. I don't care if they do bad advertisement at least they do not give false claims.

Why is your advertisments all just foused on cameras? How about awesome quad DAC headphone jacks(collab with Meridian), pretty good battery life, sandblast back design, improved speaker than g7, surprisingly light weight, durability of hardware, nice color selections, and etc? These are powerful factors that makes people want to buy your product.

What's wrong with the notch? I always see people complaining about it...
The V40 notch is not that big, compared to something like the iPhone. There are other phones with big notches, this one is quite small.
It's not bad but those other things definitely needs improving
LG's notch on phones can be hidden
I dont mind the Notch so much if it didn't get in the way of CZcams videos. Other then that I dont mind it so much. It IS smaller than other notches.

vishal bharadwaj bc this is a video focused on the cameras. It shouldn't be either because they aren't the best on the market. They're good alright. But not great. Its other features deserve to be advertised. Have you ever even seen an ad for LG? I haven't. This was in my recommended because Ive been looking up if this phone is worth it

vishal bharadwaj definitely better than apple, OnePlus, and Google. But Samsung? That's their biggest competitor right now. If LG V40 had a bigger battery it probably would have sold way more. Just one problem (like the notch or battery) will turn many many people off
@@Tigerscar12 yes i do agree with you on that . there are many other things that lg does better than anybody out there and people don't realize that as because you know lg won't advertise it and these tech reviwers are just paid to advertise the respective brands
vishal bharadwaj it really does seem like there is massive bias. I don't think they're paid though, it's just they don't spend the amount of time that they should with the phones before reviewing. Android headlines posted a review recently of the phone and it's much better than pretty much any other review on CZcams. Look it up on CZcams
Totally love the v40 even over my galaxy note 9. That audio quality over the headphone jack just blows you away when using audiophile grade headphones. For the v50 I hope they increase battery size keep the headphone jack and come with stereo speakers.

I am using V30+ right now...LG make all phones are always great and superb but few things are required to focus by LG itself
1. Marketing and highlight your phone to public. You dont need to hide anything as your phones are exceptionally excellent then why are you remain them behind curtain????
2. Pls give update in perticular intervals. It creates great impact on existing customers like me. What normal people think if we buy LG phone once then they forget us forever and eventhough I also feel the same right now as I havent got any updates since Oct 2018 even V30+ is a falgship device...I am not expecting for budget and mid range phones but atleast you must have to take care of yours flagship phone customers...
Rest all things I found greatest in LG phone...

From G3, to V10 to V20 and now V40 all wonderful phones. V40 I dig it, the battery is excellent, very light weight which i appreciate very much. This is my dream phone coming to reality. Water resistant, great full screen display OLED, wireless charging, great cameras (wide angle selfie), jack n sounds headphones/ Loud speaker and more. THANKS LG.

LG don't change anything! Your phones are innovative as amazing! I've had the G3,G4,V20 and now the V30! I've loved them all. The V20/V30 are UNDERRATED BEAST phones! I only wish the V40 was coming to 🇨🇦 😢

LG please put bigger batteries in your phones. This is a potentially great phone let down by poor battery life. Look at Note9 4000mah, this should be the minimum for phones this screen size

Please make it clear that those'standard amgle' front and rear cameras are 78° and 80°. That's wider than normal 70° on most phones. Why no mention of bright mode, AI composition, cinelog, boombox, QuadDAC, etc?

Harys Viewty It's just a video of the cameras specifically. The "main selling point" which honestly it shouldn't be. Everything you mentioned should also be focused on. But I've literally never seen an ad for any of these LG phones in my life. They need to fire their marketing team before they have to stop making phones.

I had Lg G4 which I used for around 2 years and was very satisfied everything especially the curved desgin and leather back but lost it due to infamous boot loop problem . Then I purchased Lg V20 ( which I am currently using) evenafter all my friends told me suggested not to go for Lg Devices . Quite happy with its performance and practical features it offers especially ir blaster which I can use for universal remote controller and because of absence of this great feature I am upgrading to other flagship devices. Please LG give us back ir blaster !

Arijit Bhattacharjee Huawei mate 20 pro, but even that has it's flaws. But that is what I think is the best phone of 2018 so far. If the v40 had a bigger battery and couple more things to offer, it would go it definitely.

I had lg g2 and it was amazing phone. Upgraded to lg g6 phone is ok.. but very disapointed with wide angle of 2.04 mm and i alrdy have a white spot at bottom dont know why i didnt even use allways one display or high brightness omg...

92Cope LG v30s had a screen issue too but it was different than yours. There was the whole bootloop thing wth the lg g4 and v10 that they didn't care about till they got a lawsuit ect. That's why the v40 has the second year promise warranty.
This phone looks fantastic! I recently had the V30 but had to return it to my provider due to shipping damage. Unfortunately they stopped carrying it so I'm stuck with my G4 which is on its last leg. It's too bad the V40 isn't available in Canada, I would definitely get one depending on price.
I have broken my long lived LG G5se last year the morning before a trip, I rushed to a shop and found the V40 Thinq, 300€ and man what a phone! Awesome display, Beautiful color, Ultra light, good camera quality. LG is underrated

And hope that the camera makes a great result with that number and pixels. Really this is good news how to review this one really great i watch 👍👍💟
Next step: Make your camera software better. Make your OS better. Actually, make your software for ALL of your stuff on your phones better. Because it isn't good. And maybe give us that same OLED that you have on your TV's.
