Imagine having boundaries and being front and being called a misogynist lol. What a trashy woman to share those messages right after he had a kid.
Those aren’t boundaries. Boundaries are something you set up for YOURSELF to protect yourself from disrespectful/harmful actions done DIRECTLY TO you, NOT demands you impose on another person to limit or restrict their actions OUTSIDE of the relationship. Furthermore, context matters when evaluating his texts to her. She’s a pro surfer and he doesn’t want her surfing with men…when 65% of pro surfers are men. She promotes surfing and swimsuit brands and models them as part of her career, a mode of income for her, yet he demands she stop modeling and not post pics of herself in swimsuits. In the context of these two demands alone, which are completely unreasonable and controlling, we can then evaluate the rest of the demands on his list of “boundaries”. “Boundary-less inappropriate” relationships with men…in this context “boundary-less” is subjective to Jonah Hill’s frame of mind and insecurities…what he deems “boundary-less” and “inappropriate” could very well just be platonic friendships, but because he’s insecure and afraid of losing Sarah, even platonic friendships may seem inappropriate and threatening to him. Hanging out with “unstable women” from your “wild recent past”…again the terms “unstable” and “wild recent past” are subjective to Jonah Hill. He could very well view any women she was friends with while single as “wild” and “unstable” because he’s afraid she’ll go out with them and they’ll encourage her to meet other men…or he wants to limit contact with her friends because he doesn’t want word getting out about how he’s treating her. Isolation, cutting off financial resources, restricting activities outside of the relationship, making demands, and limiting or cutting off relationships with friends or family members are all textbook signs of emotional abuse. Jonah Hill unequivocally ticked all the boxes. To think otherwise means you have seriously distorted and unhealthy views on relationship dynamics.

@@hostronic I didn’t read all that. But having boundaries is the best possible thing Jonah could have done. It’s a great example for what men should do. I’m hoping this catches on more. It’s really great it helped him dodge a bullet like this crazy broad. She’s obviously jealous he’s living his best life and missed out on a great guy who knows what he wants in a relationship and sets that upfront. She should seek help.

They were clearly wrong for each other, and it should never have come to this: she’s clearly a bit hurt by the baby thing (my exgf would have been devastated if we’d split up and i’d had a baby with someone else with a year - as would I if it were the other way round) but none of it should have seen the light of day - and we don’t know what was going on behind closed doors… I don’t blame him for being insecure, he’s had a torrid time through Hollywood and probably has a basket of issues to deal with…

I get that being over weight and young is a challenge...but at some point u have to know who you are as a person and be ok with it. Your a celebrity...and being in that profession brings criticism, opinions, and a whole world of problems...both good and bad. Its clear that at 40 johna still is wrestling with his identity.
