I like what he said about cultivating hobbies. You really have to make an effort to find stuff you enjoy doing that isn't just watching TV or going to the gym. Actual hobbies are good for the soul and they make you a more interesting, well rounded person.
I agree about cultivating hobbies. Even simple hobbies can be great if you enjoy it. I've had people tell me my favorite hobby is simple (jigsaw puzzles) but I do really large ones. The two biggest puzzles I have completed was an 18,240 and 24,000 pieces. Lots of fun!
