Jonah is insecure about not being taken seriously so it was big of him to give it up to Leo like this. But I imagine its easier to do that when you respect them as a friend as much as Jonah seems to with Leo

Will smith got robbed for 'The pursuit of Happyness', the list goes on. Oscars do not define legends, their work will speak for themselves. People will never tell you De Niro and Pacino are great because they have an oscar, rather because of their numerous performances.

Leo has made so many great movies, but "Blood Diamond" sticks out because he is so believable in a very difficult role. His performance lifted that entire movie. What a great friend to come and support Jonah.
You are right about blood diamond. Although he was nominated for an Oscar for that role but still a few people know about it and not many appreciate it. My most favourite film of all time.

Well I agree. But I also agree that it is a huge risk, not one that will end his career but it will certainly scar that modern legend status that he worked so hard for to get. I may be wrong but I don't see Leo as a character you don't take seriously when he acts. His air reeks with seriousness and drama but, who knows, he might be a good enough actor to pull off comedy.
