- Jonah Hill made his big screen debut back in 2004, playing Bret in I Heart Huckabees, but it wasn’t until his turn as Seth in the 2007 comedy Superbad that audiences really took notice. Known for his acerbic sense of humor, Hill quickly became a comedy mainstay throughout the 2010s, appearing in a slew of popular movies and even earning a couple of Academy Award nominations along the way.
Hill’s acting career has slowed down a bit in the last several years - aside from his starring role in the 2018 series Maniac, the star has only popped up a few times on camera. But that doesn’t mean he’s stepped away from Hollywood. Here’s why you stopped seeing Jonah Hill on the big screen.

I heard that he's been through a lot because of many disrespectful interviewers and because he didn't wanted to be the funny fat guy in comedies, I've been watching his movies for many years and I never thought he was the funny fatty in comedies, I always thought he was a really funny guy, and an extremely talented actor
Jonah Hill is an awesome actor. Just because he's not in anything big recently doesn't mean he's quit Hollywood forever. It'll be a while until he returns. I liked him in 'Superbad' the most.
I love Jonah, just for who he is.
I grew up in the mid 90's so the skateboarding culture of that era is very nostalgic to me, especially living in the OC at the time. I was heavy into skateboarding when I was in high school. Nice to see he was part of that culture as well

Wooow .. He is literally taking the best turns every time. Breaking typecast, keeping his private life for himself, working with small indie studios... I had huge respect for him before. Double... Triple that now.

I feel like his performance in "The Wolf of Wall Street" is still his best but he was REALLY good in "Dont worry he wont get far on foot". Hes a great actor
