I cried. As someone who grew up with an abusive mother I praise all these people for shedding light on this woman and how toxic and dangerous the slogan "believe women" is. "Believe real victims" is more accurate.

The simple fact that it was his kids that pushed Johnny to do this. The bullying they went through and the beliefs they had of their father that made him endure this. The fact that, if he was childless, we never would have gotten this trial, and Johnny probably wouldn't be with us anymore. The fact that, the mother of his kids, who defended him, most likely made sure his children watched this trial. The fact that the world believes him and his children probably do now as well.

You may not care, but men everywhere should.
If AH gets away with this then men, who were already atrociously treated by the courts (Depp included) in family law, can expect that bigotry to continue.
Where I part company with Depp is his support for women's rights. The pendulum has swung ridiculously too far. Women have all the rights and barely any of the responsibilities. He should stop that support immediately. It has nearly buried him.
The MeToo movement is only important insofar as it provides the marker for the bigoted trajectory we're on. If they had their way even the presumption of innocence would be totally annihilated FOR ALL MEN.
No thanks Johnny. You need to win your case, get everything back AH stole from and if possible see her spend time in jail. Its what she intended for Depp. Not just for you but to exclaim some sort of fair a decent society...because for all their vacuous piety the MeToo mob gave no such desire.

I wasn't a fan of JD, but by walking through this trial like many of you, I truly like this guy as a human being. Of course, he made some mistakes here and there, but who's perfect? He just showed the world who he really is, knowing how he is going to be judged by the public. How cool is that.

Same here! I’ve known him since forever, but never took interest in him. But, I was taken by the story and all this malicious plan to destroy him.
Her own illegal recordings and this narrative created by her, made Johnny look human, and surprisingly, likeable to the point that I actually sympathise with him.
The story she’s been putting on display is every woman’s worst nightmare, but I truly believe, (and it’s only my opinion), that this is not her story.
This is a story between two people who got into the wrong relationship, but one of them had an end plan. Karma is firing back. Love and support to all the real victims out there. You’re all heard, and we’re standing with you. LOVE 💕

whenever I feel like cringing when someone is crying or looking upset ive learned that its because they're faking it or exxarating it in someway. I cringe at every attempt amber makes to seem upset, it doesn't feel authentic.
What's a tremendous closing argument made by both Camille Vasquez and Ben Chew. They're emotionally invested in the welfare of their client. For them it's not only a win for JD but also clearing his tarnished name. We can all hope we can get a legal team like that.

The emotion in Ben Chew and Camille's voices in their advocacy has shown they are not only skilled lawyers but have good hearts which have been impacted by this whole case.
Trial lawyers often have a lot in common with actors. Don't be surprised if Camille and Chew realise a lifelong dream; to land cameos in the latest Johnny Depp cinematic snorefest coming soon to theaters.
Is it not funny when Camille was talking A. H. was smiling and when Rottenborn was talking out came the fake attempt to cry again. So disgusting. I hope the Jury will notice that. It would be disgusting if she would get away with all her lies.

The disparity between Depp’s legal team and Heard’s legal team is so telling. I found Depp’s lawyers to be caring, competent, righteous which are not often seen in lawyers (from my experience) whereas Heard’s lawyers were rude, unlikeable, and at times very incompetent (especially Elaine). I would really like to see justice prevail and I wonder if the disparity in the lawyers ability and likability play a significant role is the outcome.
That one young male lawyer on Heards team who was speaking yesterday or the day before I forget...he was actually really good I got worried for Johnny for a sec. The evidence is overwhelming in Johnny's side though so should be cool. Camille did a great job overall too

Completely agree. But sometimes Rottenborn can bring good arguments to the discussion. Though he’s argumentative with witnesses he seems to catch on to a point and argue reasonably well. His closing arguments were well worded though all false
In fairness, the material they had to work with was very rough.
My mother was abusive, and my older sister was an abusive narcissist even as a child. I grew up trying to make myself invisible. I was never allowed to have any boundaries, so I became easy prey for bullies. I see clearly who the abuser is in this case. I honestly think if this jury finds in AH's favor that they would have to have been bought off because she is very high on the narcissism spectrum. She is in the sociopath range. I hope she returns to obscurity where she belongs.

Its really hard to believe that a narcissistic can change even if they sincerely wanna change its proberly going to take years of therapy to rewire thier brains back to reality.

Ben Chew got really emotional on his last few statements. Especially during the part where he said “it’s about restoring Mr. Depp's name...” You can feel that Johnny isn’t just a client. JD became their good friend. I hope the jury will be in favor of JD.

I'll be honest, i believed her. Though the whole thing back then was no more than a side note in my life, even when it came back up in the me too movement, and i never really took the effort to look up any details, I did believe that at least their relationship was toxic and that JD was the aggressor, as it often is the case as a man.
Though he was one of my favorite actors (if not THE actor) i did not care much for his private life, but i WAS surprised, i had doubts, but overall i did believe her. That started to change, when HER career suddenly was on the rise and HIS career was basically over.
And after this trial? After i heard about how AHs relationship with her ex-girlfriend (a photographer, i think) ended? After I actually WATCHED some of those trials live? Now this woman can claim to be a natural blonde or to be bleached to perfection, i wouldn't believe her neither. I probably wouldn't have believed her back then either, if i'd have taken the time and effort to dig a bit deeper, but like most people, i didn't. And I'm so glad that JD found enough strength to fight back.
May this man slowly but surely have another chance of maintaining an innocent loving life, it should remain that only his childhood was the most difficult part of his story, not this

Her sister should be charged with perjury also. There have been several versions of the incident on the staircase and Whitney's version was challenged by what she told a friend at the time. It was Heard attacking Depp.

It's so sad that J.D. had to spend so much of his time, energy, and money on drama because of A.H. I have been a fan of J.D. since I was a teenager, starting with his role on the original 21 Jump Street. He's an amazing actor and an amazing human.
This team was someone you would want to represent you. Definitely people Depp needed to get him through this horrible time! I've been following this case from Australia to the point of killing my laptop as I would try to stay awake to watch the trial since it started. I hope Johnny Depp will get his truth out by winning this trial and, shedding more light on narcissism and how destructive this can be for many of us survivors!
If Amber wins this then not only has the justice sytem failed us but also conviced me that anyone could frame an innocent person just by faking a few photos with some ridiculous acting.

This last day was emotional and moving. I grew accustomed to seeing this every day and more than the drama I learned through this trial to weigh my words more carefully when angry. I wish ✌️ peace.
I want to tell everyone here a true story. I got a family member who worked at a famous hotel that Johnny always goes to. My family member has said for the past 10 years ''of all the celebs that I meet almost weekly from Robert Deniro, Al Pacino, Jay-z, Beyonce...Johnny depp is the nicest person i ever met. My family member told me he ALWAYS greet everyone at the hotel when he arrives and when he leaves and he acts like he is no better than you just because he is famous. My family member says Johnny is always so nice to the staff. When you look at this trial he always say hello and goodbye to the cops and shake their hands while Amber just leaves. This is not an act by Johnny he does this when cameras are not around as well. This story that I tell now is a true story. Johnny I have always known you had a heart of GOLD!!!!!!
You all were so amazing. Thank you for doing this for Johnny. I know you can’t look rn but I hope after this case you look at all the wonderful comments about you. We all basically fell in love with you on this trial. You are so passionate and put so much of yourself into this.
