Yes, I was there back in 77/78 against Blyth Spartans, at Home, it was nearly postponed because of the rocksolid pitch, great memories.

Bloody hell it was cold on that day could barely move on the kop and lost all feeling in my feet towards the end. My brother in law was driving and was fed up, convinced we were never going to score he dragged me out early. We got level with the uni (NEWI back then or The Tech) and heard the roar of our goal - the only time I've ever left a match early!
What memories. I went to home game, then also to the replay. Couldnt believe the crowds at St James Park, nearly missed the start, but ended up in the away end having to keep quiet whne Wrexham scored. What a pitch, what a game, what a team!
I was there it was itchy bum time till we scored at the end good game always remember it I was in my twenties good luck lads for Saturday

Wow!! Incredible to see that! The corner that eventually led to our equalizer should 100% have been a goal kick to Blyth!
Also got to retake the corner due to the flag falling down.... keeper collected the original take cleanly. That's football for you!
