- AC3’s stealth system is not its strength but once you learn, it can be so satisfying to stalk your prey by becoming a blade in the crowd.

Kino out here blessing us with AC3 social stealth clips sent from the heavens once again 🙏

@@kinography9085 👁️👁️👁️ I... I see... I SEE!!!!
I NEEDED THIS. I remember when a long time ago I put in the search engine "AC3 social stealth gameplay" and I didn't find anything. Watching your social stealth videos is always a nice thing to watch. Every moment of the video is pure creativity; the detail of the 5:59 zoom was hella cinematic and the use of recruits and tools is impressive. One of the best AC3 videos I have seen, since it is something different from what we are used to seeing from this game
Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it!
6:55 was a very realistic ambush
Yeah, it turned out a lot better than I expected lol
Seconded - always love the use of those “clotheslines” that hang over the streets
A true Assassin using Social Stealth masterfully
Thanks!
Mate this usage of social stealth was mad impressive. I never remembered this game having such opportunities to use the social stealth this way
It usually doesn’t. I’m pushing the game to its absolute limits in these clips
@@kinography9085 is this choreographed
@@jacobb751 semi-choreographed. A lot of it has to be improvised because it’s in the open world but I would reset if something unexpected happened or if I messed up
@@kinography9085 ok
2:16 remainded me of manhunt 2
Great vid as always !
Thanks Lumin!
the Kenway saga's stealth is still a system that i have to improve on, it's so crazy that they don't let you whistle on AC Unity lol
AC4 and Rogue are both pretty intuitive in terms of stealth besides some nasty detection bugs, but AC3 especially is a very tough nut to crack. It has a lot of really bizarre rules with its stealth and detection that makes sneaking around more effort than its worth sometimes, but once you learn the system it can be very fun
it looks very fun indeed so that's an effort i'm willing to make, great video btw i liked the way you lured a guard by bumping into him that's such a peak social stealth move
It doesn’t work so well in AC3 (definitely nowhere near as useful as it was in the Ezio Trilogy) but it moved him far away enough from the poisoned guard that he wouldn’t investigate the corpse and instead come where I wanted him to go
4:47 - 6:13 is my favorite part of the video
I especially liked the double assassination at the end
Thanks for watching!
4:12 ilike how u hid him there with fist
Ilove its animation and u used it in a great way
Really nice work. Kind of debating on whether or not I should replay next week and I just might
Thanks Sif! AC3 is a weird game to me because it can often be as frustrating as it is fun, but these moments when the systems combine to create these kinds of interesting gameplay happenings it’s always a blast. AC3 is also just a really nice game to chill in tbh
3 is my personal favorite out of all the games
Overall, nice stealth gameplay!
Thanks!
I would say the most stealthy tools were the throwing knives from AC & AC2.
It's a shame those never returned.
They’re in some other games besides AC1-Rev. They’re technically in AC4 and Rogue, and return in Syndicate
@@kinography9085
Yeah i know but you had to pick the knife up from a deceased enemy to throw It.
Is not something you could buy with a blacksmith anymore :C
Awesome thumbnail
I tried my best for this one lol
I really thought the barcode would scan
Lmao same
Lmao, sorry for getting your hopes up. What’d you think of the video?
@@kinography9085 amazing video, as always I learn so much from u. Also 2:22 i didnt even know that existed
@@AltairStealth Oh yeah, those. AC3 adds a ton of new hiding spots like sitting on a fence, blending on a market stall, leaning on a wall or weapon rack with NPCs, etc. They function like normal hiding spots, but pressing Assassinate will cause Connor to perform this super badass kill. Unfortunately, you can’t low profile assassinate out of these like you can with benches or haystacks, and these contextual kills are high profile
Out of curiosity, how much have you unlocked and explored the recruit skills? I’ve noticed my recruits start using smoke bombs as they rank up, but i also get a kick out of using the loot and decoy skills, more to stealth navigate. Ambush is one i haven’t gotten the hang of yet
This is on a new save so I haven’t quite unlocked everything yet. I imagine that I’ll make a sequel to this one once I’ve unlocked everything
Yum
Nice to see you again Hooded One!
@@kinography9085 good to watch your videos again Kino! You've grown quite a lot since I last watched
are the properties of the fist corner takedown different or are you just doing it for variety?
Fist takedowns from corners, ledges, hiding spots, etc. are actually silent. The hidden blade makes a little bit of noise when doing assassinations from a non-standing context so switching to fists is usually a lot safer. The best example is that rooftop with the four guards I ledge assassinated. If I had used the hidden blade instead they would’ve detected me
Great video! I want to know if assassinating with the hands is more quiet than with the hidden blade. I asked because I noticed you used the hands on several occasions, one of them being the time you ledge assassinated four guards on the rooftops and none of them noticed you. When I do that they usually see me.
The Hidden Blade is silent when performing a standard walking assassination, but makes noise during contextual assassinations like ledges, hidings spots, etc. Unarmed takedowns from those contexts are completely silent though
@@kinography9085 Hmm.... Interesting. I'll keep that in mind, thanks.
2:16 nice to see you showcasing the very high profile, not at all socially acceptable blending spot assassination. At least they look cool ig
7:18 damn that was indeed badass
11:30 iirc the stealth to combat transition in ac3 is broken enough to almost guarantee a free kill after an assassination so that's pretty cool for combat stealth
11:50 very nice double kill and overall great use of tools here
Thanks for the kind words Broox! The new hiding spots in AC3 not having low profile options is incredibly frustrating because there’s a lot of potential in them but they can still be used in interesting ways
Dude he is ginus🤯
I wish I had the original and not the remaster. If only I could pirate a copy of it for PC 😭
Its a shame that most of your methods were never teached by the game
That’s almost every AC game in general unfortunately
That can be said for every AC
I wanted to ask what are the stealth rules when it comes to the bow and arrow. Ive noticed that i get detected even tho enemies cant see me or the guard that just died. Its not all the time, when im on a higher level like the top of a building or ship, they cant detect me. But when im on the same ground level, or at a level they would normally be able to see (like a low enough tree) no matter how far i am, if they are close enough to another guard they will detect me. Is that how its supposed to work or is there more to it?
That’s basically just how it works. Imagine that the bow is equivalent to a high profile assassination, because that’s essentially how it works. However, if you use the bow from far away enough (has to be very far away, like two or three stories up), enemies won’t hear Connor. Additionally, if enemies are distracted by a poisoned victim, they basically become deaf to the bow, which I showcase in this video
@@kinography9085 wow that explains so much, i was thinking the detection was just so bugged but i guess it does have rules. thank you man.

Did you know that if you hold the run button while performing a ledge assassination you'll jump to them instead of pulling them down, seems to work in every ac game
Yes, it’s a feature in every AC game since AC2 and was removed in Origins, but not before being severely nerfed in Unity and Syndicate
@@kinography9085 how did they nerf it?
@@bigboss4993 From AC2-Rogue, high profile ledge assassinations can either be performed close to an enemy for a unique animation or performed far away to perform a tracking air assassination. This move, and other derivatives like high profile hiding spot assassinations have a ridiculous amount of range. Unity removes the long range option (only allowing you to perform it up close) and even removes the ability to even trigger a high profile assassination variation from certain contexts like haystacks-Unity also outright removes several assassination types while only really adding window assassinations as a brand new assassination context
@@kinography9085 I did think it was weird I couldn't high profile assassinate from hiding spots thought I was just imagining it
@@bigboss4993 You were not. Unity removes a LOT of assassination types
u can throw smoke bombs btw
might make a video of ac3 stealth actually
I’m well aware, I just don’t like using smoke bombs in these types of videos because they make things a little too easy. There’s just an exception here because in that one clip I was about to fight a small army lol
WHAT YOU CAN DO A 2-4-1 WITH THE BOW?????
Yup!
@@kinography9085 Ubisoft not telling us this shit like
Is this the remaster?
Nope, the original Xbox 360 version

@@vstarev2715 maybe, but I don’t think I will anyway, because I wouldn’t force my worst enemies to do something like that

Probably
@@kinography9085 yeah, i think ac3 and ac4 has thousands less cool stealth things know? Just seeing the video i change my mind. ( And, If you Will play more, can you do a colonial assassin skin video? )
